Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GreeceI had the most wonderful stay in Paxos, and this hotel truly made the experience unforgettable. From the very first morning, surrounded by ancient olive trees and the golden island light, everything felt serene and inspiring. The rooms are beautifully designed, combining elegance with comfort — so perfect that you feel you could sit down and start writing a novel. The ambiance is magical at every hour of the day. Whether it was enjoying a quiet breakfast in the garden, or returning in the evening to warm, golden-lit interiors, the hotel offered the perfect blend of relaxation and sophistication. The location is also ideal, giving easy access to Paxos’ highlights, including the breathtaking Erimitis cliff with its famous white rock face glowing at sunset. Overall, my stay here was flawless — a true haven on one of Greece’s most enchanting islands. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace, beauty, and a touch of inspiration.

FranceThe lack of privacy in the bathroom, but the staff was reactive.
The hotel was very nice and beautiful, bedrooms were comfortable and Apostolia, the manager, was reactive. The breakfast was very good, with nice Greek groceries

United KingdomThe WiFi wasn’t great in the rooms. The outdoor space needed to be more inviting in terms of lounging furniture & an outside bar, to encourage guests to stay around the hotel in the evenings.
They couldn’t do enough to accommodate our needs. But it was a working progress as they were new management and trying to make breakfast the best they could

TurkeyThe only downside I can mention is that the room was quite dark, there was no mosquito net on the door and the window, and we didn’t have anything to hang our laundry on. Still, we really loved the charm of the old stone building. Big thanks to the whole team!
We were really happy with our choice, the hotel was lovely, tucked away among olive trees. Our room was quite spacious. Even before we arrived, Apostolio got in touch with us and stayed super kind, warm, and helpful throughout our stay. Chef Dimitris made amazing eggs and delicious cakes – breakfast was such a treat every morning. Yannis and Dennis were also incredibly friendly and helpful. Honestly, the whole team made our holiday even more enjoyable.

What a happy place to stay. The design, the layout, the setting, the staff - all top class. Even before we got there, the hotel was in touch to welcome us and help with our arrival. Nothing was too much trouble and each member of staff worked seemingly effortlessly to ensure that our stay was the very best it could be. They are all a credit to the hotel. Our stay left us feeling refreshed and relaxed and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

United KingdomWe enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it. Only one area to improve would be the breakfast. They charged for having a nice espresso as they only offered normal coffee. The breakfast could be more plentiful with better array of locally made cakes and bread.
The room was very spacious and well decorated. The hotel is located in the north of the island away from all the bustle of Gaios, although if you have a car its only 15 minutes away. The swimming pool was nice. But there was no bar by the pool.

IrelandWe loved everything. Our tower suite bedroom was fabulous. Lena and her staff, Anna, Yannis and Dennis ( a descendant from the Gods of Mt Olympus) and the breakfast chef were just wonderful. So friendly and welcoming. This was our forth time here and it’s so lovely.
We loved this exceptional property, a beautiful restored old building.

DenmarkOnly one small glitch; the breakfast arrangement was a bit unstructured, which could been avoided with better training. Considering the price of the our stay we had higher expectations.
Very nice mini resort in a very beautiful setting in the hills above Lakka. Fantastic ambience with sell preserved buildings and a very nice pool area. We had e-bikes and thus could reach Lakka and sorounding beaches very easily. The staff was very friendly and service minded and helped us in any way with transport and reservations. Spacious room with good facilities. If visiting Paxos another time this would be a good place to stay.
