Reviews of Triton Sea View Villa

We had a wonderful stay at this villa! It looked exactly like the pictures — even better in person,. Beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. Everything was just as described, and we felt completely at home from the moment we arrived. The setting was peaceful, the views were stunning, and the whole experience was smooth and relaxing. We loved it and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

The house is huge and spacious and clean. It was very well equipped with everything you need, and a fully equipped kitchen. The pools were wonderful and the perfect temperature.

There is as a smell of sewage throughout the whole complex, it was hard to even sit outside. There were also ants in the kitchen on the worktop the entire time. It’s a long way to take the trash out (down to the main road), luckily we had a car.

A beautiful property with all the facilities needed. Close to the beach, supermarket, a few restaurants etc. Lovely and peaceful and the views from the roof terrace were fantastic. Staff were super helpful and responded quickly.

Everything was great. The property is comfortable and well equipped, the cleanliness, the views from the terrace (amazing sunsets), the sandy beaches are nearby. The small food delights left for our family upon our arrival were much appreciated.

Unfortunately the pillows were not soft and not comfortable for us.

Apartment villa was as presented on pictures. Facilities kept in order, regularly maintained. Cleaning provided for longer stays. There were some of the most vital consumables in the villa upon arrival, which was good as we forgot to by coffee. And we found a welcome basket of delicious fruits and local dry bread and jams. The pool of proper size and shallow area for kids, located on the facility shared by a few villas, was not crowded ever, usually our family was there alone. Just enough parking spaces, important, as not very realistic to be regularly commuting without a car. Super attentive support service, providing support chat, clear check-in instructions, categorized information on the property and the stay. I rarely give 10, this place was worth it.

Were no problems, just some comments here, Do not think you can productively work online from there. There is internet, but due to mountains connection is not stable, so hangs from time to time, or experiences low throughput. Wi-Fi is provided in the villa, but the device uses same over-the-air mobile internet, so same experience. So you better have true vacation and forget about work. Car is not necessarily needed, but preferred if you don't plan to spend all your time on the villa.

Villa was perfect invigourating oasis experience! You have view of the sea and of the the mountains. Two good size, very clean shared pools and enough sunloungers. Most of the time we were the only ones at the pool. Surrounding cardens were well looked after with blooming flowers. Villa itself was nicely decorated, very clean with good beds and bed linen. All 3 bedrooms had access to either carden or balcony. Few shops and taverns, good size supermarket near by and local long beach. We rented a car for a week, which made life easy. It would have been a little bit hard to walk to local places with kids in heat although they were near by. Staff were very wellcoming and helpfull.

Not all properties have a sea view.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped. We greatly appreciated the small complimentary extras on arrival (water, juice, fruit bowl etc.) The beds were very comfortable and rooms just big enough for 2. Individual air-conditioning units in every room was very nice to have. We had a breakfast terrace as well as a roof terrace and one of the beautiful pools was right beside the apartment. We only shared the pool with a few neighbours and had it to ourselves much of the time. For our preference, the placing was lovely, a quiet oasis. We had a rental car and could drive to shops, towns and day trips. We had reason to contact the agent a few times and received good customer service.

Our arrival was a little stressful as we had not received neccessary information. Tips! Check that you have received your apartment number and code before arrival. The dishwasher broke down on the 2nd day of our 7 day stay. It was not fixed within the remaining time. It is quite a distance to dispose of rubbish, all the way out to the end of the lane and across the road.

Loved the villa, clean and modern with a lovelyshared pool. They had left some basic supplies which were really useful. Supermarket was a short drive away and the beach was walkable. Great views out to sea and of the mountains. Helpful and friendly staff.

If you like silence it was noisy from a nearby hotel at night but it didn't bother us too much and they finished at 11pm.

That fantastic mountain and sea view that you have in once place is remarkable! Someone may say the location is a bit distant from beaches, markets, restaurants but that was exactly what we liked about. A peaceful rural area that literally charges you for life. We had our rental car, so every day was a new adventure for us. The house is large enough, furnished in a contemporary style with very nice retro accents. Beds and pillows are very comfortable (something that I always had problems with, when travelling). Various and large enough kitchenery.

We enjoyed the location (although a bit far from the main road), because it was quiet and private, with a beautiful view. The rooms were very clean and we had everything we needed. The garden is extremely well kept with various flowers and shrubs and the running water from the pool create a very relaxing atmosphere. All in all, it was a great experience, nearly perfect. Would book again in the future.

We had a problem with some of the interior doors: they were very creaky and hard to close. There was also a problem with the air quality at night and we had to close the windows.

It's a beautiful villa equipped with everything you might need including a washing machine, dishwasher etc. The cleaning lady was very nice and overall the accommodation was clean. There's also a pool and you can sit on the rooftop to enjoy sunsets, a bike was also to be found up there. It is very quiet there, but you can befriend the neighbors if you want to. The beach is pretty and you can take long walks up to Georgioupoli town, there are also some bars and taverns near the beach. The town is beautiful too.

Although possible, it is rather inconvenient without a car. Georgioupolis is a 40 minute walk (along the shore) and Rethymno about 25km from the villa. There are busses that go each way every 30-60 minutes. Supermarkets nearby are rather small, so if you want to cook, maybe go to town, but the restaurants are good. Without a car, the walk from the main road up to the villa is about 12 minutes if you use what looks like a hiking trail or a gravel path. Don't give up, go explore and discover those. Otherwise, if you follow the road, it's roughly about 20 minutes by foot and there aren't lots of streetlights so it looks rather creepy the darker it gets, no worries though, you won't get lost if you follow the road. The beach is directly on the other side of the main road, be careful when crossing though. For us, it was a few rainy days so it got quite inconvenient to walk all the way up there but I'm sure the rain was a rare occurrence (lucky us). Or just get a car. I highly recommend it.
