Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Needs a bit of improvement. A vanity for sure, washing up, face, teeth. The shower stall has not a door, all the water was outside, therefor you had to deal with pools of water. kitchen gadgets . Definitely is lacking on that aspect.

Polanddrinks during the purchased dinner, as it turned out, had an additional fee, The air conditioning was quite old and I was afraid it would explode, although it worked well but was quite noisy, we didn't have a door in the shower cabin (!), wifi connection was very poor, nice selection of food but it wasn't outstanding, the place is quite far from the tourist part of crete and attractions
view, service on a reception, quite a large selection for breakfast and dinner, swimming pool, cleanup, fridge in the room, free sun loungers by the beach

DenmarkThe breakfast was quite dull.
The location was nice, just across the road from the beach where there were sunbeds free of charge and service from the cafe. It’s a simple hotel and the room interior is a bit tired but everything is very clean, so it doesn’t matter that much. The town itself is not that interesting but does have a promenade with some lovely restaurants.

IsraelThe place is quiet and pleasant, the rooms are spacious and each room has a balcony. The staff is always happy to help with any question. The location of the hotel is excellent, the small village is quiet and not crowded with tourists. Near the hotel there are excellent taverns and supermarkets with everything you need The hotel's breakfast is excellent and varied at a fair price. We enjoyed every moment

GreeceThe first of our arrival the hotel was overbooked and they moved us to nearby hotel (100 meters). The room they gave us was not the Queen suite we booked but a triple room. The manager George was very kind and he offered us an extra night on the Triton Hotel from the next night.
It is exactly on the beach

GreeceNothing we didn't like but coffee making facilities in the room would be a good idea. Also some English TV channels as they were all German, Austrian or French.
Very comfortable beds. Good sized clean rooms. Very friendly staff. Checked in an hour early with no problems . The balcony was facing the sea front. Nice breakfast. Free sun beds on the beach. ( Take beach shoes to swim in as it is a pebble beach, which makes it perfect for snorkeling)

AustraliaThere were a few things listed as being in the room that wasn’t (kettle, tea and coffee maker). The accommodation is very catered towards the French. We got given instructions in French and when we asked for an English copy they said they didn’t have any. The hotel outlines airport shuttle but this isn’t correct it’s a taxi service. The umbrellas listed as available at the beach cost 9 euro but you can keep them for the day so it’s okay. We stayed 6 nights and got fresh towels once which we had to ask for. The guests all go up early and put towels down on the sun lounges to reserve them for the day and then go to the beach so you often can’t get a sun lounger near the pool. The outside bar had drinks listed as available and when we ordered the staff member didn’t know how much they cost. The staff were arguing in front of guests at the pool bar too on a few occasions. For location to the beach we would come back again but keep in mind you don’t get exactly what is listed and that your service doesn’t seem to be as good if you’re not French.
We loved the pool and how close the hotel was to the beach. The breakfast was great.

SwitzerlandThe beach in front of the hotel offers sunbeds and umbrellas, but it belongs to the neighboring cafe and the prices are high. I can advise you to go to another "Beach Pera", there you will find a beach with finer sand and sun loungers with umbrellas at no extra cost if you have a drink ... hotel Edelweiss (which you definitely will :-) ).
If you choose Tsoutsouros, the Triton is a good starting point for your vacation. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had a room in the renovated part! I was surprised that the hotel has 99% French speaking guests and staff.

I liked absolutely everything!!! I will recommend it to friends, acquaintances and everyone who is looking for a wonderful holiday. I think I will definitely come back here at least once more!!! BelgiumComing from Agia Galini Tropica, the pool was a bit undersized :) but never too crowdy. The sea is big enough to do my daily swimming miles :p The area is not the best for snorkling, you'll have to do your hours While we came for the Greek version of dolce far niente, be aware that the trip to the town is lengthy and challanging, so not the best if you would be planning to do many daytrips from that location. This village also contains the Only restaurant of Whole Crete (maybe Greece) that doesn't compliment the friendship with ZERO glasses of Raki - it also contains one of the restaurants that shares as many Raki as you want #flush
We got special attentions for our 30 year noneymoon: fruit, wine, room with a view,... again special thanks to the staff. We will have amazing memories to our vacation here (among which the sailing trip with Maria, Alex, Georgio and of course father Anastasius Raki LXIX) The entire village has excellent seafood restaurants

Thank you very much for a pleasant stay at the hotel, we will be happy to come back here again. There is everything for a comfortable stay in our understanding - location on the seashore, sunbeds on the beach included in the price of accommodation, good food (by the way, my comment about the variety of cuisine was immediately implemented). Special thanks to the responsive staff of the hotel - they helped us very quickly in the situation with the dentist.
