How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

12 inch drop into the bathroom which can be dangerous. Only light in bathroom was from mirror.
Big rooms. They were nice enough by leaving me a birthday message and a bottle of wine.

There was a bit of noise coming from the street. The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak.
The staff was very kind and always ready to assist! The location is perfect - 7 min walk to Acropolis. There was a coffee machine in the room with capsules. Towels and bathrobe included.

The lady serving the breakfast was really lovely and friendly, but there was a small variety of food to choose from.
The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff was helpful & friendly.

For $10 a day the breakfast was definitely not worth it. It was a little strange that the rooms were cleaned late in the day rather than morning.
It was in a quiet area. You are able to walk to restaurants and coffee houses, but none in immediate area.

View from balcony was awful, just looking into another apartment that we could almost reach, so kept blind down the entire time. Bathroom smelt very damp. But these are minor and overall it was fantastic.
Big, comfortable modern room with a very comfy bed, lovely reception staff. Very small hotel. Good location only a few minutes walk from the acropolis museum.

The window is small (but it’s ok)
The room is spacious with sufficient facilities. A bottle of free drinking water offered per day. The location is good. The staff are friendly (24h reception) and they helped us order a taxi to the airport (45 euro).

It is a very noisy location with constant traffic noise.
The rooms were good. The hotel is in a very convenient location. The breakfast was good but not particularly varied.

Cleaning of the room did not take place two days in a row until I reminded them.
The room was really big, the bathroom was nice. Modern equipped. The location is great - really near Acropolis. Everyone was really friendly.

Breakfast time was till 10:30 am and when we reached for breakfast at 10 am , everything was out of stock and no one was there to attend
Location is best , considering travelling and city centre , very much convenient, good restaurants nearby

Although I believe the price was fair, I missed a few elements in the breakfast: scrambled eggs (instead of boiled ones) and a grill for making toast. This is just my personal preference, but I think other travelers might also appreciate it
The staff was the kindest I've ever met, always ready to answer our questions and make our stay easier. The location was perfect—within walking distance of the Acropolis and the Plaka area, with great restaurants nearby."

Noise all through the night and plenty of motorbike sound. No parking. Breakfast is not good, only cold food. Machine coffee not acceptable.
Good hotel contemporary style, functional with no flashy colours. Good price.

Stayed in the junior suite. Room was decent size but when sofa bed was extended it was difficult to move around. Loud street / traffic sounds from the boulevard. Breakfast was very simple

The rooms are a little on the small side but the amenities were good. It's a little noisy and on a busy main road but overall its ok.
The location as excellent. Walking distance to the Acropolis and touristy part of Athens. Close to attractions and easy to get around. lots of nice cafes and restaurants within distance to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived at 2am and there was someone there to greet us.

The location was very good - walking distance from the Acropolis and most of the major attractions. The room was spacious and clean but we felt the shower room was cramped, There was a Continental Breakfast provided which had plenty of options. There was a roof terrace with tables and chairs which was pleasant to relax on.

Very small rooms. Pics made them much look bigger.
Bed was very comfortable. First morning’s breakfast was fine. Second morning, no coffee and some selections were empty. Had to go out for breakfast.

It would be great if the roof top terrace is ventilated in summer months prior to opening as we found it always hot and stuffy with roller blinds closed

The balcony very close to a side of another bldg. and therefore almost entirely covered by shades, made my room feel claustrophobic . The light in the bathroom didn’t work.
