Going up to the room through narrow indoor steps and try to fit a suitcase was a challenge

The private bathroom was not part of the room, so we had a little less privacy. But that was only a very minor detail.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and only € 10 for 2 persons. We felt that we were welcomed with love. Not too far from the bus stop.

We booked here for 1 night. The room (with private bathroom) is small but nice with its own small balcony. The owners (Dimitris and his mother Majka) gave us a warm welcome and were always available for us and our wishes. For a small extra charge, there is a sufficient breakfast in the morning (coffee or tea, egg, feta, bread, ham and cheese toast, orange juice, Greek yogurt) under the trees in the garden. Personal needs (e.g. vegetarians) are also taken into account if necessary. The hotel is just a few minutes from the metro station. Restaurants can be found a short distance away on the opposite side of Vouliagmenis Avenue. We hope that a room will be available for us again on our next stay in Athens. 😊

Spiral staircase up one floor to the rooms is difficult if you have a heavy suitcase or any mobility problems. However, my host carried my suitcase case for me on arrival .

Lovely quiet leafy neighbourhood. Beautifully clean room and private bathroom next to it, kettle provided in room and air conditioning. Kind woman host waited up late to let me in.

An excellent family owned BnB, close to the centre but also not in the centre so you can unwind. The family, Dimitris and Maika, are very polite and are trying their best to help (not only with the BnB, but also with general questions about Athens). The rooms are spotless clean, and the garden a very nice place to relax (especially in the hot days and nights!). The metro station is just three minutes walk, while Athens is like 10-15 minutes on the metro! Thank you Maika for you hospitality, hopefully I will stay with you again!

The heat was overwhelming when coming out of the bedroom into the bathroom. The lack of cooling in that part of the house made it stifling. This hasn't been a problem in previous stays due to different room. But this time around I really noticed the heat and found it incredibly uncomfortable.

This is my third visit to this property, but first time in this particular room. As always, love the location, cleanliness, and friendliness of the host. I wont hesitate to stay again.

The double bed seemed very small for two persons and was very creaky with the slightest movement. Definitely could use an upgraded mattress or bed.

The host was very nice and even helped us with our luggage. He brought fresh lemonade to us. He was eager to help us with any of our questions or concerns.

The address is NOT UNIQUE: There is a similarly named street in another part of Athens, in an industrial neighborhood next to a criminal investigation facility. "Not a jail" but the people inside can't get out. To get the correct address to show on Google one needs to type in only the name: Veggie Garden Athens B&B and NOT the street name. This ambiguous situation cost me 2 hours on the day I needed to get there. Also, despite the name, there was evidently no guest access to the garden.

Everything was good.

Staff was polite, friendly and helpful. The unit was large with it's private patio with access to larger outdoor patio with tables. Felt more comfortable staying here than a hotel because of the decor and personal memorabilia book case and musical past. I arrived early and room wasn't ready so host suggested to take Metro to city, Metro stop was close to the house, a few minutes walking. And there was a nice park and a cafe along way! I would stay again!

I would suggest to change the bed mattress. It was too hard and wasn’t too comfortable to sleep on and it seemed kind of small despite the fact that i am not that tall or is my wife but still we found the double bed to be too small to fit comfortably.

The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet but very close to the metro which made travel to downtown very easy. The air conditioning worked wonderfully, which made sleeping very comfortable.

The bed is a little firm, not what I am used to - but it isnt terrible. Other than that, the place is clean and I would still stay here again.

Have stayed here before and chose to stay here again. We love the location and that we feel like we are staying local rather than in the city. The train station is a 5 minute walk and we were in the city within 20 minutes. Plenty of local eateries within local walking distance too.
