Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomSadly the trees have grown and block sun from the pool area by 3.30pm in September and we all wanted to make the most of the late summer sun. We all preferred the sun loungers to the bean bag loungers as these make you too hot! Genuinely shocked at how steep the road/long driveway up to the villa was, a medium car with at least a 1.6L engine is recommended, this could put less competent drivers off renting this villa. We were aware that it had a steep difficult road/long driveway but nothing prepared us for this crazy incline! We have also been to Sivota previously and realise that the best views are from the higher up villas.
Amazing views, quiet location without any barking dogs etc., very comfortable beds, full length electric shutters to block early morning sunshine, clean and extremely well equipped kitchen. Fabulous sunrise views. Large shaded area with outdoor sofas and gorgeous very large outdoor dining table which we loved for eating and playing cards, Uno etc. It all makes for a very relaxing holiday. This villa still feels quite new and modern yet has a good homely feel about it. Barbara, the host is a super friendly and helpful lady. Sivota is a charming village with plenty of choice for dining out and a lovely little marina where Dimitri hires out speedboats, well worth doing. Sivota Bakery really is the best, breakfast, evening meal and a birthday cake all from here were beyond perfect.

United KingdomRoad up as others have said is a little tricky. But for me was not a problem after the first day. Seemed silly to have to meet Barbara in town for her to show you the route, but well worth it and made it easy for rest of week. The upside of the road, is the peace and tranquility, as no one else going up there and the most amazing views when you are in the villa. Would not put me off going back.
Most relaxing place I’ve been to for years. The lack of noise was noticeable. The villa was perfect and not a thing needed to improve it. The cleaning team were amazing and the host Barbara was fantastic. No question or problem too much. Made life so easy.

United KingdomOne room in the villa was small and really not suitable for two adults. Other rooms were beautiful though.
Location was incredible and well worth the drive for the view you get.

United KingdomTo get to the fabulous villa/ view - there is a very steep road - some of which is not made. Not possible for many vehicles / taxis to get upto villa - maximum size of taxi would be for 4 people - so 2 taxis needed for any trips out - but Barbara very helpful
The view from this gorgeous villa is spectacular. 3 of the 4 bedrooms are gorgeous ( 1 internal room with no view and dark - but would be great for young children to sleep - not ideal for adult

United KingdomThe road up to the house is an experience! We hired a car through Alex who knows the road but I definitely had to hold my breath every time we went up it! It’s worth it for the views though!
The position is absolutely outstanding. The views to the sea and islands around is unbeatable from the poolside and the eating area/balcony. The house is decorated in a minimalist but authentic way and has everything you need. We really wanted for nothing. Barbara was an incredible host and no request or question was left unanswered. So helpful! We really loved Tranquility.
