Nice and spacious villa with large pool. Great seaview from the upper terrace. Helpful cleaning lady came to the villa in the middle of the week to ask if we needed anything, which was nice. It was also great to meet the hostess and host. Villa was at the hill but not far from the sea. Almyrida is small, cozy and peaceful place.

What a fantastic villa. Both terraces offer panoramic views of the sea and mountains, great for a morning coffee and family meals. Large terrace with private pool. Lots of space and well kitted out. A lovely welcome pack of food and wine was much appreciated. Its literally 5 minutes walk to the sea front with the taverna's so we didn't bother hiring a car. Anna was super helpful with questions and recommendations replying very promptly. Will definitely look to stay again.

2nd shower not ideal but in fairness we didn’t complain about this and made do, as all else was so perfect . Warning to any elderly, or disabled people, the hill walk up to the Villa is very hot in the summer months!

Excellent location so close to the beach and restaurants . The property had all facilities needed and was set in a quiet location although so close to beach etc. Very prompt response from owner and villa manager when needed. Anna was so accommodating and let us stay in the villa on the last day, as our flight was late. This was such a big bonus to us. Excellent welcome pack . Who could want more !

Crete is HOT. An air conditioner may also make a difference in the main space (currently, there is AC only in the bedrooms).

The facilities were fantastic, quick problem solving (if there were any), pool maintenance, quick communication, the location - everything was above and beyond.

Minor comments, but the patio area around the pool would benefit from being brushed. Also the rim around the edge of the pool needs a clean. The pool itself was very clean.

Kevin. He was not at all helpful when we had no water on our last evening. When we called him to let him know none of the taps were producing water he remarked he would be unable to magic it. My partner eventually located a switch that needed flicking so thankfully we were able to shower before our flight. Kevin really lets down an otherwise fantastic stay.

The villa is stunning in the most picturesque location. The facilities were incredible and the welcome pack was a welcome surprise. If we return to Almyrida we would definitely rebook. Pool was fabulous!

Great villa, in good location , very close to the beach, restaurants, cafe. Nice surprised to find cold wine and water in the fridge. Some bread, fruits, biscuits and honey also been left for us. Very clean and kitchen equiped with all you could need for self catering holiday.

pool is a little small

this was our second stay at Villa Helios. it’s spacious and well located, just a five minute walk from Almyrida beach and all the village facilities The view from the terrace is unbearable and the owners were very accommodating and easy to deal with.
