Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomLovely view, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is right on the beach, only small but nice for a morning stroll and relax on. Right on the strip near to shops, restaurants and bars.

United KingdomExcellent location, on the beach and near loads of restaurants. Nice coffee and iced coffee from the snack bar. Beach safe for children. Staff were friendly and helpful. Land train to Zakynthos Town recommended. Trip to see turtles and shipwreck picks up from the hotel.

GermanyThere is nothing really we disliked. But I am pretty sure that -if you get a room facing the main street- it will be pretty noisy at night due to the constant traffic and people passing by but since we didn't have that, all good!
This is a really convinient hotel if you're going on vacation with your partner or kids. It's easy to get to from the airport (best by taxi which costs around 20€ for two), the pool is great to have and so are the free sunbeds on the hotel ground. The little beach right infront of the hotel is cute, the breackfast is okay (not amazingly healthy but also not as bad as some people were wrinting here), the rooms are clean, the beds were comfortable, AC was working and so was the Wifi in our room (306). I was asking for a room viewing the sea when I booked this hotel via Booking.com and we got exactly that so we were VERY happy with that. :) Off to a good start & stay! The "snackbar" at the hotel is great to have in case you are craving a beer, a sandwich, chips / fries or ice cream during the day. The main street in Argassi -where this hotel is located at- has tons of restaurants, little supermarkets and souvenir shops so you have all you need right there. We also rented a scooter (at Ioanian Rentals - we can recommend!) for three days (60€) which was a fun and practical way to explore Zakynthos a bit more and check out other beautiful beaches. The cleaning ladies and the snack bar personal were very friendly; they are doing a great job to make you feel comfortable and seen as guests. It might not be a 4 Stars hotel interior-wise but we were really happy with everything and had a great and memorable vacation so we can definitely recommend this hotel.

United KingdomNo late check out, so had to use the shower facilities in reception. These were clean but late check out would have been better (I understand this was a flight changeover day so was not possible). Also WiFi was slow in some areas.
Fantastic location. Only 10 mins in a taxi from the airport (expensive taxi but this is the only time we were ripped off the whole week). The rooms were cleaned every day and were immaculate. The hotel had its own beach which was lovely and calm and quiet. Snack bar was really reasonably priced too. Super close to the resort’s restaurants, loads of brilliant food close by. Only 2.5km to zante old town which was lovely for an evening too. Close to a fantastic bakery which was great for pastries!

United KingdomBreakfast is not good value for money, poor choice and variety of food. Also there isn't any way to book the sunbed next to the pool and in the early hour of the morning all the guests have already reserved the beds even for people not present in that moment. Not nice.
Very nice location, nice room with great sea view. Parking space is OK.

HungaryYou have to pay for the sunbeds on the beach until 4:00 PM. After that, they can be used free of charge. Hotel guests really should get the sunbeds for free. By the pool they are free of charge. We stayed there until 4:00 PM and then went down to the beach. It wasn’t a big problem for us, as we were many and someone was always watching our valuables. But for those going alone or just as a couple, it’s harder to manage.
It was close to the airport and easy to reach. It has its own beach area and a swimming pool. The staff were very kind, and the rooms were beautifully cleaned every day. Room 208 had a sea view – I can highly recommend it to everyone! The Gusto restaurant is just 10 steps away from the hotel. There’s a fantastic team working there. We ate there every day! You should definitely try it!

United KingdomThe room was missing lots of stuff, the bed is uncomfortble. The breakfast was okay, But we felt stressed by the stuff there. They were cleaning the tables while people eat and it feels like they just want us to leave. They turned of the coffee machine directly at 10.00.. somedays we didnt feel welcomed so well. There were no machine for water if we want to drink, we have to pay. At least itShould be offering some water. The organisation of sunbeds are crazy as well… people take sunbed at the pool and go to the beach for hours!!
We like the view and the pool outside. The beach near the hotel is amazing.

The hotel was in the middle of the strip, everything you need is close by. It’s a bonus when you walk out the back doors and the beach is right there!! Amazing views to wake up to from the front of the hotel 😍

SwitzerlandBreakfast was frankly very poor: The ingredients felts cheap (e.g., not real honey but "cream of honey" - i.e., mainly sugar with a bit of honey). The fruit and yogurt was the only thing I would consider ok. The room maintenance left much to desire and the wardrobe smelled like mold. A minor (but still unpleasant) point: even if there is a private beach, it was necessary to pay 10€/day for the seabeds there. Only the swimming pool beds were included
Just on the waterfront and few steps from shops/bars/restaurants. It also has a nice garden with cute cats :)

RomaniaThe bathroom was damp and outdated. The room is small. There were cobwebs and souders on the balcony and although we requested to remove them with a spray, they were not cleaned. Breakfast was extremely poor: only one type of cheese with a low milk content (artificial cheese), ham of the lowest quality and impossible to eat, no milk for cereal, no tea for children. The cheapest food products were present at breakfast. The sea beach had a jetty right next to the hotel and it should not be bypassed. This hotel can be assigned a maximum of 2 stars.

RomaniaThe hotel is a 4 star hotel, which probably received the 4 stars way back, probably at the beginning of the 2000s years. At the moment, it's more a 3 star hotel, as the standards of the hotels grew up in the last 20 years. Also when the hotel is crowded or full, it may be difficult to find a parking lot, as the yard isn't that big.
The hotel was good, the breakfast was very good, the staff very helpful and nice and the hotel had a lot of facilities (swimming pool, pool table, bar, beach, etc).

Switzerlandthe service was very poor for a four star hotel, everything was very dirty even though they did room cleaning everyday, i found that the bathroom, especially the bath tub, has never been cleaned, the couches in the hall were dirty, not as in the pictures, cutlery containers during breakfast were dirty. the hotel is also very old and the only good thing is that we fortunately had a sea view room. talking about the staff, the barman, that also works on the snack bar, was very nice, but the receptionists were most of the time not friendly at all, they barely speak english and when we asked for tours, transfers etc to go somewhere they were almost laughing at us and telling us to go to a travel agency, and that’s okay, the problem was the manners. would not recommend, the point is, it’s REALLY not worth the price. it looked like a 2 stars. and the point is we paid for a four stars, we expected something more, at least cleaning, even thought i think that there’s an underlying problem because cleaning ladies were very nice, i think they just weren’t taught well about what people expect from a 4 stars. i swear that the first day of our stay i had to double check if it was actually a 4 stars because i couldn’t believe it. (also the safe was broken)
honestly the only good thing about this hotel was the pool and that it was directly on the beach
