The only bad thing was that our room was close to reception, so it was a bit noisy as we could hear staff speaking when we were trying to sleep

The location was amazing as it was close to the downtown but in a quiet place with a sea view. The design of the territory and the rooms was fabulous. The staff were very kind, polite and helpful. They even arranged a birthday cake for my boyfriend. Also, the breakfast was extraordinary

Breakfast - This was pretty good. Great selection of fruit, nuts, meats and hot dishes. Loved it all. Oh and the attitude and service of the staff was just wonderful all day every day. Would go back in a heartbeat.

I’ve stayed in many hotels over the years, but this one truly stands out above the rest. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, everything was flawless. The facilities are beautifully designed, modern, and incredibly relaxing ,every detail has clearly been thought through with care. What truly made the experience unforgettable was the staff. Warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming ,they went above and beyond to make sure every moment of my stay was perfect. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The breakfast and other amenities were also top-tier. It felt like a true oasis of luxury and hospitality. This hotel was without a doubt the cherry on top of all my travel experiences. I’ll definitely be returning ,and I can’t recommend it enough!

Waking up to the panoramic sea views was truly magical. What sets Zante Maris apart is the outstanding service. The staff went above and beyond every single day—always warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. From the welcoming drinks to the personalized recommendations, we felt incredibly looked after. The restaurant served some of the best food we’ve had on the island—fresh, creative, and absolutely delicious, with a focus on local ingredients and Mediterranean flavors. The location is a little secluded. Which is totally fine if you have a car (I did). But if you are wanting to explore close towns or go out for dinner, then you would need to taxi/drive. I like being able to explore/walk around, I had a car so was able too. Just an FYI if you think the hotel is 'close' to things.

I loved Zante! I was very lucky and was upgraded for my room type and got a private pool villa. The room was massive, quiet and comfortable. Huge shower, outdoor tanning space and pool. The hotel grabbed my suitcase from the car/parking area and golf buggy'ed it to my room. Breakfast was a great spread with both a la carte + buffet. The staff were very friendly and the hotel grounds / space was beautiful. They offered olive oil at check out as a parting gift, the housekeeping staff were lovely and provided water and a great turn down service.

Zante Maris is an exceptionally beautiful resort, and it’s run with remarkable professionalism. The standards are high, and the presence of a large, attentive staff is noticeable throughout. The rooms with private pools are amazing—clean, comfortable, and very well-maintained. Breakfast is generally good, with a wide variety of self-service options. However, I wasn’t impressed by the hot dishes—there’s definitely room for improvement here. The bread served under the eggs is often burnt from an old toaster, giving it a bitter, unpleasant taste. I also felt the egg dishes could be more carefully prepared—the omelettes were dry and hard, and the toppings seemed added without much culinary thought. In contrast, the à la carte restaurant is exceptional. The food is Michelin-star quality—flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. Room service is also excellent: quick, efficient, and the food is just as impressive. The cocktails are fantastic—so good, in fact, I could sip them all day (though that wouldn’t be great for my health!). The hotel staff is extremely well-trained: always greeting guests politely, offering help, and someone is always nearby if you need assistance. The only thing I might have hoped for is a bit more warmth in their interaction—though that could just be me being a cheerful soul! I would have also appreciated more tips or suggestions from the staff on what to explore around Zakynthos. That said, the staff is absolutely professional—just what you’d expect from a top-tier fife-star hotel. All in all, Zante Maris is an outstanding resort that fully deserves its excellent reputation and pricing. It’s definitely the best hotel experience we’ve had on the island.

The room was amazing with a private pool and gorgeous views of the Ionian Sea. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade given it was our honeymoon. They went out of their way to provide us with gifts and superb service. Alban was our favourite staff member and he should be awarded employee of the month! We will definitely be back on our next visit to Zakynthos.

Placed in a room with poor air con . After making a fuss, we were moved, but it took a few hours! After that, it was wonderful.

Service was extraordinary. The quality of everything was amazing. Breakfast was a treat. Sommelier Sophia was excellent, and we had a unique dinner experience. It was a stand-out holiday.

Stayed in a room with a private pool and was genuinely one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed - big room, cleaned twice daily, large private pool, nice and quiet, great view… really couldn’t ask for any more. The staff were great and the food in the restaurant was excellent, better than any of the restaurants we ate out at.
