How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewVery good morning continental breakfast. Good size room for 2 adults. Nice all around resort. Will definitely visit again in the future.
Speaking about room 213 - Shower small and water goes out, making bathroom floor slippery and floor to be mopped up.

Verified reviewThe location is great as it is very close to the sea and the silence in the evening is relaxing. The towels are changed every day.
The breakfast consisted of the same types of food every morning. I stayed nine nights and it was boring, although the yoghurt and olives were tasty. The coffee machine was better than last year.

Verified reviewWe had a wonderful stay at hotel Zeus! The location was perfect, just a 5 minute walk distance from the beach and close to local restaurants and shops. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. We especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the fresh breakfast each morning. Overall it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience - we would definitely stay here again!

Verified reviewThe hotel was very clean, quiet, and peaceful, a great place to relax. The parking was convenient and easy to access.
The water pressure in the shower was unstable and quite low at times. Also, the breakfast selection was very repetitive and didn't vary from day to day.

Verified reviewThe family that run the hotel are very friendly and welcoming. The owner spoke to us everyday and was keen to recommend places to eat and visit. The pool is very clean and not overly busy during the day. The rooms are spacious and are very clean. The towels are changed daily, which is beyond what I would expect. It's location is good as it is not too far to walk to Neoi Pori or Platamonas. If you have a car there is ample parking available. Although the breakfast is the same every day, there is a good selection to satisfy everyone. I would definitely stay here again as it is a lovely family run hotel and they genuinely care about their guests.
The water pressure in the shower was not great and fluctuated a lot.

Verified reviewThe location is ok, clean, quite close to the beach and the restaurants in Nei Pori.
Breakfast lacks variety. Very few options to choose from, vegetables are missing (only a few tomatoes and those are unripe). Although Greece has excellent cheeses, they are missing here. Only processed cereals for children. If you want breakfast, better look elsewhere, here the breakfast is a joke.

Verified reviewonly its was close to the beach bar and beach. Parking but crowded.
bed is double but small, not for two persons. Bathroom tub iz extra smal 60x60, and open without cover so u make flood in whole bathroom. not every day towel for floor so i used my face towel as it could be river on floor. no any cleaning tool so we had sand in batroom and in whole room, they didnt clean floor, we didnt had any tool. also they didnt chnage sheets, arghuing they did when i asked to change it, had to wait next day as cleaning stuf work only in morning.*owner couldnt go in room with sheets clean :) *.Locket of room didnt work, we couldnt lock room with card, owner making us dumb as its ok we can close, but 3xtimes showing that anyone can go in. also once cleaning stuff left wide opened door of room. no even excuse we got. Safty box didnt work, so we were unsafe for leaving anything in room. beakfast is poor, everyday u can eat only spiced wurst, ham(if its left) eggs, olives, some bread, sour cream*not enough after 1 hour, no fresh cheese, no yogurt, just 1l milk for whole hotel, so bad cuted tommato, as only salad they offer, not any more, no anythinh for bread,8-10h only brakfast. so after 3 day we go out on breakfast. for almost . TV of course only greek chanel and prety small tv, Internet not useful, only 4mb/s. 900e/10day its so bad offer for everything. Also in pool there were sand and litle bits , but after 8 days they put too much chlorine for cleaning i got poisoned. AC directotins toward in head, u can use and freeze

Verified reviewBest thing about this small hotel is the lovely and friendly family running it! The good sized rooms are cleaned daily and all public areas kept nice and tidy. Breakfast was fine and the covered parking area greatly appreciated. Quiet residential area, but only a 5 minute walk to the beach. All in all, very good value for money and nice, relaxed atmosphere.
I would warmly recommend the owners to try and get Booking.com description of their property rewritten (which I know, as a holiday let owner also on Booking.com, is not as straightforward as it sounds!): • "the rooms are soundproof": unfortunately the door leading onto the walkway is not soundproof (gap under the door) meaning that you will be woken up by everyone talking in the central yard / walkways outside of your door. My recommendation is to invest in proper external doors and tight fitting door frames. • "the views from the balcony overlook Mount Olympus or the beach": unfortunately the side of the building our room was on did not have views to either. • "Traditional Greek menus or fresh fish are also served": unfortunately no food available after breakfast. • "Large outside pool": perhaps "an outside pool" would be more accurate a description?
