How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewOur hosts were very friendly and helpful during our stay. Helping us with advice on restaurants and getting a taxi. The room was also immaculately keen and well provided for the stay.
We had booked in large part because of the photos of the pool, which are of a nearby spa that is independent of the property. The layout is also strange with a kitchen that looks into the bedroom and the smallest shower I've ever seen.

However, we would like to point out that your description does not reflect the reality, as the apartment is exactly as shown in the photos — including the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. All images and details are clearly presented on the property’s main page so that guests know exactly what to expect. Regarding the pool, as can be seen from the photos, there is no pool directly within the property. The photos also show that there is both a pool and a jacuzzi, located just a 3-minute walk from our accommodation. These facilities belong to the local spa complex in Loutra area and are available for use with an additional charge. This information is clearly provided on the property’s main page so that guests are fully informed before booking. We also noticed your rating of 5/10 for amenities. We would like to highlight that all listed amenities — were provided exactly as described. Our aim is always to deliver on what we promise, and we believe the apartment fully meets the standards shown in our listing. Finally, I am glad that you appreciated my assistance in helping you and your family both upon arrival and departure, as you did not have your own means of transport, as well as the fact that we did not charge you for the damage caused by your daughter. Verified reviewWe had a wonderful stay! The view was amazing, the kitchen had all the essentials, and the host even left water for us — such a kind gesture. The place was clean and cozy, and the host was incredibly warm and welcoming. The homemade cake was delicious! My son said it’s the only place he wants to spend his seaside holidays from now on 😊 We truly hope to come back next summer. Thank you for everything!

Verified reviewExcellent accommodation in Kassandra, close to the beach, 5 minutes away. It has all the facilities in the kitchen, including sugar, coffee, large and extremely clean rooms. The host is extremely nice. It was an amazing stay. The sunsets from the terrace are memorable.

Verified reviewThe location has good positioning and it was great for our purpose on visiting Loutra (scuba diving). It has great layout, good parking place, gorgeous garden and terrace. We were so happy with all the apartment appliances, good coffee (Nespresso machine, and Illy coffee), and so on. The outside shower area have been a great option for washing all the sporting gears at the end of the day.

Verified reviewThe apartment was perfectly clean and extra equipped. It has a nice location - Lutra SPA complex is very close to the apartment and breathtaking view from a terrace. Zoey’s House is managed by a very hospitable and welcoming family. We had an early check in without any problems and extra fee. Moreover we had a continental breakfast and greeting compliment: two bottles of cold water in a fridge and a bottle of wine. Thanks to Zoey’s house we opened for our family a new point of possible accommodation for future vacations. Thanks a lot!

Verified reviewThe apartment is spacious and very clean. Kitchen well equipped with appliances and dishes. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. The apartment is fully adapted for people in wheelchairs. You can even get additional equipment from the hosts: a toilet stroller or an anti-decubitus mattress. A pleasant space in front of the apartment for sitting and enjoying the sea view will make your holiday unforgettable. Thanks to Lei and Elena for everything. I'm sure we'll be coming next year.
