Is a beautiful place inside of Semuc Champey, pretty little wooden houses. Lovely workers they are so kind and helpful .The portal has an outdoor pool with great temperature to use at sunset or at night after the tours.

Location is just a few steps away from the park, staff is very friendly, and rooms were spacious enough (We had rooms for 3 persons with private toilet), and the facilities in general were good. The only kind of negative side is that there were no ventilators (or A/C) in the rooms and it was very hot already in March, but I can understand it as electricity is via a generator a few hours a day. (And almost sure non of the hotels near by have them)

The entire team is friendly and helpful. The facilities are very good, although the public restrooms could be cleaned more frequently throughout the day. The location is excellent.

Beds were too hard, pillows as well, only had one thin sheet as a blanket for two the first night and it gets really cold, no real windows

not hot water at all. I would love to see the hostel work more with the community that is around the place, to create a circular economy in that place,, looking to benefit more people. Music was a bit louder till late.

The location is wonderful, right alongside the river. Our cabin, in particular, was a little older but clean enough and comfortable. The food served on site is lacking for what you pay, but the staff are fantastic and go above and beyond to make you comfortable. Our only complaint on our stay, which we extended a day, was the sub-par food.

The power hours were not consistent. It changed daily. Food hours was when they felt like serving you. Staff was great the first day, then it seems we were more of a burden than anything. They were more interested in being on their phones or chatting together than helping anyone. We constantly had to go up for menus and food orders. They would serve some people food, but when we asked they were closed. I asked what time they stopped serving food they said 5:20. Yet they took someone’s order at 5:15. It seems they favoured local. The day before it was different. The prices changed on some things like coffee each day.

The location is unbeatable. You stare at the bat cave across the river. It’s right beside the pools of Semuc Champey. They warn you about the power and times it will be on or off, prior to arrival. Wifi worked at the hotel even when there was no power. The view is stunning and the rooms are basic but expected way out there. Close to some nice local BBQ’s where the food was much better. And a great happy hour!!

Pool had green algae possibly due to power outages meaning filter is not on but it was being cleaned. There's nothing else to do in this location apart from semec so bring a book!

Lovely view of the river from the bar/restaurant, food was good, nice garden , room was good and clean. Location for semec was excellent.

Transportation from/to Lanquin was badly organised - long wait, driver was arogantic asshole. Electricity just 6 hours per day. Cold water in the shower.

Very nice location near the river, beautiful infrastructure. Great tour to Cemuc Champey. Separate houses with just 4 beds inside. Calm and comfortable staying.

The bed sheets had not been changed... The staff was mostly men, lacked some female energy in my opinion. The bright lights were on till 9pm, it would be much nicer if only a few were kept on in the evening.

The location is perfect as you can walk to Semuc Champey within just a few minutes. The shared bathrooms were very close to our room. The rooms are simple but they have a nice space in front to relax.

The water in the common bathroom was cold.

The hotel is just 3 min from the entrance of Semuc Champey. The food that they prepared was excellent. The staff was very helpful and also talked English.
