Perfect getaway location, just outside of the busy town of Coban. The rooms are spacious,clean and comfortable ,and the surrounding gardens makes it a pleasant stay. Mr. Miguel is a wonderful host. His family and staff will make you feel right at home. Highly recommend!

It was all great.

The property is gorgeous. Beautiful, green, lush. Lots of birds and flowers. Location is wonderful and very relaxing. The rooms are huge and well-appointed (although the nightstand had a lamp on it that couldn't be plugged in because there was no electrical outlet nearby -- weird but sort of typical in Guatemala). The room area even had a common outdoor kitchen with microwave, water, stove, etc. if you wanted to prep some food but the restaurant was great!

It is just on the outskirts of Cobán and you can not walk into town easily, so it is limiting in that sense. There is a restaurant with a good breakfast, but other meals are basic with minimal choice. The surroundings are green and lush, which can make the rooms a bit damp and musty. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had plenty of hot water (after you let it run a few minutes). The staff did not speak English but were all helpful.

Our room was pretty cold at night as there was no heating to use which made it a bit uncomfortable. Also the available blankets were not clean so we could only use them to cover our feet which made it a bit hard to sleep.

Ideal place to stay for people who love to be connected with nature as it's located literally into the forest. It has great vibe, energy and fresh air. The staff is pretty gentle and wiling to answer to any questions you may have. Breakfast was awesome as we enjoyed it into the nature.

We had a very good stay at the hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly. Miguel was so kind to drive us to the bus station twice free of charge. The room was huge and the location was also very quiet. It was perfect for what we were looking for.

Because once parked, we did not want to leave to go somewhere else to eat dinner The restaurant was open for dinner but only offered the breakfast menu. Also there were building new cabins during the day that made a lot of construction noise

Although the restaurant is open for dinner, at the time of our visit rhe only option was to order breakfast. The same breakfast menu for breakfast. Bed not bad but could be better quality.

It offered an oasis to the surrounding chaos of the town Corban. Clean aesthetic modern duplex cabins settled nicely within a lovely forest. Outdoor kitchen area. I think it is still a work in progress with new cabins being built within the forest. Hot water shower.

The mattresses were not the most comfortable I've ever slept on. Not a dealbreaker for sure, but the only negative I could think of.

LOVED this location in the cloud forest. Feels like you are just sitting in nature. Also, was hard to find place with room for our whole family (traveling with 5 of us). Their family room has this corner window that is amazing! Really enjoyed sitting out on the patio and listening to the insects and birds. One night it rained and we sat listening to thunder and watching rain. You drive down a dirt road, but it's well-maintained and we didn't have any trouble. Breakfast was nice Guatemalan traditional breakfast - eggs and beans or I think they offered an oatmeal option too. Went to Semuc Champey on day 2 from here and was great we didn't have to go through traffic in Coban to get going since it's already on that side of town.

The water pressure in one shower was very poor and the other not good when next-door room used it. We prefer not to pay for breakfast. It would have been nice if we could order some local food for pm. The outdoor sitting could get a little maintenance/makeover.

If you have a car/driver and like nature (and do not need to get frequently to the city) - the location is nice. Also for traveling early to Semuch Champey the location was great. The place feels like a mini welcoming resort we loved the option for a picnic area. The dining area is very nice if you like outdoors and the team made an effort to serve us.

It was our second visit and definitely we will come back. Everything is so nice. The property is so quiet, peaceful and cozy. The staff is amazing, always trying to help and solve requested services as serving breakfast a little bit earlier.

Location, quietness, kindness of staff, price, comfort, food. It has it all. Excellent accommodation for a one day trip to Semuc Champey. The bus only takes 2 hours and costs 3 USD.
