There are things that could be better, the walls in the bedroom were dirty, the mattress not to comfortable,the faucet in the sink was not working

The only thing missing is air conditioning. It was very hot in our room.

Everything was very clean, they even cleaned our room during our stay, the receptionist was very funny and helpful, he arranged a trip to Tikal for us, the bed was comfortable, the price was very good. Location is good, but island is small.

Room was really warm as the ceiling fan was positioned incorrectly. It was warm enough to keep us awake, but we left the door open and it helped wonders. Shared bathroom is clean and has hot water. Staff is helpful and made us simple breakfast early at 4, as the tours usually depart early for Tikal. Do note that the staff sleeps outside at the reception area.

The hostel was really nice. The stuff was friendly. There was free drinking water and a well equipped kitchen. In the morning we got some toast with jam for free. The only weird thing was the shuttle price from Flores to Semuc Champey (325 Q)… only a few doors down the road we got a shuttle for 200 Q per person.

Only issue : the bedroom for 3 people on the 1st floor under the roof is WAY TOO HOT even with 2 fans. Had to take 3 cold showers through the night. Better book the ground floor's one.

Staff is super nice! We arrived a little later than check-in, but we texted in advance and it was no problem. They got up super early to get us breakfast so that we could get our 6AM shuttle.

Really good considering price. Bathroom inside. Location convenient, close to Maracuya restaurant. Water fountain in reception area. Common kitchen and fridge available if you want to cook.

Excellent little hostel in Flores. The room was clean and access to the kitchen was great. The staff were very helpful and kind. We appreciated the rooftop access for doing yoga.

They charge extra for storing your luggage before/after your stay.

Drinking water is available. It's not mentioned on booking, but there is a small breakfast included. It's toast with butter, jam or peanut butter, and you make them yourself. Very close to the two nice restaurants Cool Beans (lunch) and Maracuya (dinner/drinks).

Our room was quite stinky, very hot, humid and stuffy - it’s very difficult to sleep there, we were thinking about sleeping on the hammocks in the terrace, cause the temperature was lower there than in the room (even with 2 fans working, which are btw super loud). There are a lot of ants in the room. The construction of the shower is not very solid - I’ve got electric shock twice during showering despite using it according to the instruction. The whole venue is not really well maintained - even though there is potential to renovate and clean a lot of things, especially terrace that is not fully finished. We were not informed about free kayaks (we get to know from booking automatic message, after our departure) even though we asked about a lot of tours, talk about it for quite long time and eventually buy one of them (we should read it I know but it would be also nice to mention). Also 1 person from the stuff was not nice to us and was staring at us a lot for some reason.

Good location, it was a free breakfast (nothing fancy, just a bread with marmalade and watered-down coffee - but still nice to get something to eat in the morning). They also sell trips to Tikal and prices are ok. Some people who work there were friendly and willing to communicate despite language barrier.

The room was like a sauna it was so hot, made it impossible to sleep let alone even breath. The staff was kind enough to give us another fan but it was still very hot. The shared bathroom was quite dirty and you’re sharing with far too many people

We loved our time here! We had the room on the top floor which was extremely comfortable and clean. All the staff were exceptional and very very helpful. We thought we left something in the lobby and they even checked the CCTV for us. Would thoroughly recommend.

The person working at the hostel was very warm and welcoming. There is an equipped kitchen. Unfortunately the room where we stayed on the ground floor did not have a window. There was zero air circulation. Moreover there was an opening in the wall directly to the bathroom belonging to the neighbouring apartment. So when in the night they forgot to switch of the light it was bright in our room. We had to wake them up to switch it off. Overall I would not recommend this place. One night is a maximum I guess one can decide to stay there.
