We've had issues with water pressure in both rooms showers: low water flow and difficult to set the hot/cold balance. Rooms sound insulation could be better.

Excellent place, very good location and views. Rooms are spacious and clean, Bathrooms are adequate. Restaurant has great terrace view and good food. Vegetarian friendly. Stuff is very friendly and useful. Easy access to Panajachel by car, boat- or moto-taxi.

There is no public boat to this place. You need to either hire private boat from panajachal(round 300Q) or book Uber. And Uber takes long time with many cancellations. We took Tuk Tuk and it took 45 mins to get to this place.

Amazing lake views from.our room. Not many resraurents around but Rene's pizza was too good.

I expected a little more in the accommodations . No tv for the quiet hours to settle in for the night . No hot water (warm) water was shut off and not notified of reason

Our rooms were up 60 stone steps and right beside the hotel's construction site. Work started at 7 am. I wonder why we were not given a room at a lower level. There was no one in those rooms. Could have been quieter and easier

Not about the property itself but just a note if you are driving from Antigua: the road coming from the south along the lake is a bad dirt road, however the road via Panajachel is good.

The terrace has a beautiful view of the lake! The room was comfortable and clean and there is hot water in the shower. Filtered drinking water was provided. The food and drinks were delicious and reasonably priced (try the empanadas!). The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Two parking spots are available underneath so it is first in, best dressed. It was a very peaceful place to stay, we absolutely loved it!

There is nothing to do in the town. Ferry and boat service is limited. 25 min to Panajachel in a car, where you can have it all.

The stuff is very helpful and attentive. Great lake views. They have a restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner. Grounds, landscape and overall design are very attractive. Free parking is available.

It's a bit in the middle of nowhere but it's a good place to stay for a night when traveling somewhere else.

The only thing is that It’s quite a way from Panajachel so if you’re looking for something close then it would be too far. Otherwise it was a great stay

My room was super basic, didn't even get shampoo, just a couple of mini soap bars. TV had no option to watch streaming platforms, just local cable and signal was not that great, no small/hand towels in the bathroom, it didn't have a shower curtain either, so when I showered it was a bit cold and I made a mess of splashing water.

The view is amazing, it is right in front of the lake. I got a room with lake and garden view and just opening the eyes and seeing the mountains/volcanoes and the lake was beautiful. Also, it is generally quiet and peaceful. The garden(s) are well taken care of, with lots of birds nesting.

The room needs more ventilation (fan) or staff can educate the customer how to open the lower windows, first night the room was super hot and when I requested for a fan they came and open the windows, also we ask for towels change and never happened. Parking is limited.

The view is just perfect, the lake is just a few steps away, Jose and Francisca treat us super nice and always ready to help us.

Room was sparce. No refrigerator or coffee machine. One bed was really firm, the second bed was pretty worn.

Bring earplugs, it's really really loud - fireworks at all hours and barking dogs. I did not get good sleep at all. Not the hotel's fault of course. Confusing check-in experience and not a lot of communication. I did sit in the courtyard for about an hour trying to flag down someone for a beer, but was ignored (they acknowledged me and just...moved on), and they took care of other customers. Hurt my feelings more than anything. Regardless, I'd come back.

This place is gorgeous. And the views are spectacular. If you're a fan of mid-century modern, yet naturalistic architecture you'll be in love. The food at the restaurant was great. I had the fish several times because it was so good. Excellent breakfast.

As an advice we would preferred more privacy. I mean, to have an option with curtains so we can block the light and the sunlight , some of the ppl don’t like too much lightning before sleep or wake up
