Maybe the rooms need a little more love... there are no lamps just a very small one. There is little decoration. With such great wooden crafts throughout Guatemala it would be nice to have a more "cute" room.

I liked everything. The location, the staff, the food, the views. Our lodge was fantastic! Had views to the river. The price is great for a private room. I also have to say that they helped me with a little surprise for my husband that was celebrating his birthday. It was very cute, they arranged some flowers in the room and at dinner they sang happy birthday with a piece of cake. They also have activities in the river which we didnt do because we didnt have time.

To be perfect it would be nice to accept credit card payment with no extra fee and maybe the food not vegetarian oriented. Other than that I loved the place.

could talk about the tours a bit more. what we do on the tours. we did the candlelight cave and it was scary and really cold somethings, wish they would have talked a bit more of what they entail.

The staff was super friendly and proactive. The Restaurant was so delicious, very fresh for good price. It was The best hostel we stayed in so far. It was really a wonderful stay. The Set up and the atmosphere were super relaxed and kind. The location near the river and close to semuc champey was also great. It is also perfect for tubing, because you go directly from the Park to the hostel. The tours can be booked through the hostel and are also very nice. Also the Shuttles, which are cheaper than online.

Gorgeous location on the river and the hang out area was wonderful for meals and to meet people. The candle lit cave tour and tubing were arranged directly w utopia and were fantastic!

Hard to cool down without airco m, especially in the room (luckily there was a fan). Keep in mind that you are very dependent on the hostel, its facilities and food since you cannot just go to a restaurant or shop nearby. The wifi didn't work either so we relied on the accomodation services. Luckily we could use their hotspots when really needed :)

There’s a cold river nearby, perfect for cooling down on hot days. The communal space is comfy and calm. The vegetarian food is out of this world. They feed you so well, you’ll never want to leave. The place is very clean. I loved my stay there.

One bed in our cabin was comfy and the other one was not.

it gets super hot in the rooms and the floors are extremely squeaky but you get used to it

all the staff that we interacted with were great, there is a nice family vibe to it but nobody is participate in it, you can walk to the park in about 45 mins if you feel like it the accommodated to my vegan diet and arranged a shuttle to Flores for us, everything went fine!

Rooms are quite small, we didn't have warm showers during our stay. Also, please do something about the very loud creaking of the doors, earplugs weren't enough.

Beautiful location peaceful and in the middle of the jungle. The staff was very friendly. Good breakfast and tasty meals. Great to do tubing back to the hotel. Absolutely recommend staying here.

The location could not have been better! The main room/ dining area had a spectacular view, I never got sick of the view. The staff was friendly. Loved the yoga classes. Although we are not vegetarian, all the meals tasted amazing and had huge potions. We also did the chocolate making class which was fun. Walkable to semuc (45min-1hour- we got a tuk tuk back). Can’t say enough good about this place, truly a gem in the Guatemalan jungle!

Some of the staff (I believe they were volunteers) were better than others. Our shower never had any hot water which was not a surprise, but for the price to stay there, it shouldn't be the case. The location is a bit difficult - you either have to take the Utopia Shuttle from Lanquin to arrive, or you CAN drive your car as we found out, after we had already paid them to park our car in a secure place, you just need to be aware of the rain potential.

Beautiful property! Peaceful, incredible views. The family style meals were really nice to chat with other visitors. They offer fun things most nights (bonfire, live music, etc.) and tours. Wished we had one more day to just enjoy the property! Would definitely return! Food was very good, and good portions.

The room did have a window but it didn't have anything to close it with. It has a net for the mosquitoes and just a curtain, so at night we were pretty cold as there is no way to stop air coming in. We asked for a few blankets. Couldn't get hot water on the shared bathroom, they told there is a way but it didn't come.

Amazing location, for 1 full day we just stayed there. The next day we went to semuc. The communal area is so beautiful and inviting to just chill there. Would have stayed longer (we did 2 nights). The personnel are extremely nice and helpful. We did the chocolate tour which was very interesting and we made chocolate bombons. The place is close to semuc champey with a 45min walk. We did the walk and it's a very nice one (instead of taking the tour). The river besides Utopia is beautiful for a walk or dip.

The only thing I can think of is that it's not always guaranteed that you'll get hot water in the shower. But personally, I didn't mind :)

The room we stayed in was quite basic, but the general atmosphere of the hotel is great! Very relaxing with beautiful views of the jungle. The staff were incredibly friendly and the cat was so cute! The food at the hotel was delicious and I really liked the 'family style' dinner where everyone eats at the same time and the menu changes every day.
