How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewThe place is what I expected. It was clean, complete with amenities, and the location is excellent. This location is conveniently close to a grocery store, the Agana Shopping Center, and several popular dining options, including McDonald's, Jollibee, Taco Bell, Subway, Wendy's, Capriossa, and Panda Express. I like that there is free assigned parking. Very convenient and no need to worry about parking. Also, the host, Queen, is very responsive and accommodating.
Just the flooring. I am not a fan of ceramic tiles. It is cold.. Need indoor slippers. But my stay was excellent.

Verified reviewComfy beds, good AC, spacious, centrally located to the whole island (other people might like to stay close to the beach but I like to go to a different beach/area every day so this was the perfect location for that). A grocery store is only a block or two away. Good water pressure and hot water. The apartment isn’t fancy but it gets the job done for a reasonable price. I could hear roosters from the apartment (which will be the case anywhere on the island) but they weren’t super close/didn’t wake me up. I would happily stay here again if I returned to Guam.
No nightstands/lamps next to the bed and it’s close to the airport so the planes coming in for a landing are very loud (only woke me up once tho).

Verified reviewWe had to drive out to get breakfast. The location is quiet good, closer to the fast food chains around Agana area.
I would have preferred a bigger parking space as I was driving a rental car. The parking slots were too narrow and somehow difficult to open the car doors wide for easy access.

Verified reviewI like the bedrooms. Clean and quite sizable. The place had basically everything i needed. Miss Queen was very helpful and generous.
To be honest no matter what the price is i expect satisfaction. The first thing i experienced was when i was cooking i encounter ants coming across the counter top. Miss Queen was made aware and took care of it the next day. Even though they never came back it cause me to be cautious to put anything eatable on the counter. Second i kept feeling something on my arms while sitting in the living room couch. It turn out to be some kind of flea. They were quite small and difficult to see in the light so i grab a chair from the kitchen to sit in until i left. And last i don't know if this is normal but the lights went out 3 nights in a row. Wasn't sure was this the building or not but i had to endure that for at least an hour at a time. One last thing if you do stay here get the second floor because you will hear who's living above you!
Dear Van We are sincerely sorry you experienced this during your stay. Guam is a hot and humid island and unfortunately if there is food laying around and exposed -ants or flies will come. We always advise our guests to please not leave any food on the counter or anywhere as these insects will come. We also do our part and have our units exterminated on a quarterly basis. Secondly the power was going out every night because the Government of Guam has load shutting on every village. This has been occurring since the typhoon we had back in May and unfortunately everyone on island experienced this on a daily basis. The good news is that the Government is slowly fixing all their electrical problems and load shutting is less frequent now. We hope that you will come back again and visit with us soon. Guam is a beautiful tropical island with friendly people and amazing places to visit.

Dear John As you know Guam just had a major supertyphoon and when you arrived We just had power and water restored to our property. Our housekeeping crew would have come back to clean your unit if you had any issues. But for you to complain after you departed is unacceptable. We also had given you a 2 bedroom unit for a 1 bedroom price. We take pride in our units and would have taken every measure to make sure you were happy with your unit. We would have gladly come back and clean it right away especially after this supertyphoon. Thank you for staying with us. And we wish you safe travels back home.
