How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The TV didn't work, you could here everything outside, all the conversations going on, in the hallway and right outside the window.
Receptionist was pleasant. Made me feel comfortable.

The shower - curtain was bothersome kept sticking to my body. The water pressure was too low. The beds were comfy but was too low made it a bit difficult to get off. That's all.
The location, the very clean bed sheets and good size rooms. I was also very happy that we were on the ground floor. Very convenient.

I've transferred to another room because the water pressure is really low...preferably higher floor nxt time..

Arrived at our room 319,...TV wasn't working, remote control not working as wee, ac was off when we're at the room.and no towels available..

Right by the airport runway, so very noisy. I note that the hotel had just switched management and improvements to the facilities were being done during our stay, so several things were missing - We had to request vacuuming as one of my children was asthmatic, it was missing a telephone, the smoke detector kept beeping (but that was replaced right away when we checked in, so thanks a lot for that) our room didn't have a telephone until we left, the Roku tv couldn't play anything except YouTube, noise from the renovations, our room was right by the pool, so also noisy when in use, the elevator looked old, was very slow, and didn't smell fresh all the time. Shuttle service wasn't available during our arrival and departure times. These comments aren't meant to smear the hotel, but to serve as a check list for improvements, which I believe are underway. My opinion is that it has great opportunities for improvement and I'm even excited to see the results. If my family were to have another vacation in Guam, SureStay would be a strong contender on our list for accommodations and car rental. We greatly appreciate the hospitality. Thank you!
The location was ok, not too far from the main town, not too busy, useful shops and gas stations nearby, our room had its own laundry room (very useful for a group of five), they were able to accommodate a fifth person by providing a roll-in bed, they have good car rental rates (I booked a brand new 2025 Nissan Rogue for $54 a day which was really worth it). The staff was really nice and helpful from the front desk, to house keeping, to maintenance. We didn't spot any roaches.

Before there was a package of room and the rental car. Hopefully will restart that program in the future.
The breakfast was pckage food since the kitchen was renovated. Hopefully next time I stay the kitchen is open

They need to let people know about the 200 dollar deposit prior to them booking because they may not have an extra 200 dollars in their budget for the trip.

The breakfast is not warm.

The junior suite room we had was beautiful! Staff and management especially a lady hopefully I get her name correct began with S not sure if it was sherry her customer service was amazing. Pool wasn't ready get due to our typhoon/tropical storm we just had but other than that would for sure return with my kids.

The place was what I needed. I traveled alone so most of my time was visiting with everyone. The room was kept up with daily housekeeping. The housekeeping staff was very friendly. Front desk took care of things I needed.
