Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandThe hotel is super well located, with Times Square, the MTR and trams very close by. The room is modern, clean and comfortable, and the self check-in service is seamless. The entrance is a bit concealed but the guide sent by the host made it easy to find. Overall could not be more satisfied with the stay.

Hong KongIts a well smallish room but has everything a room needs and in a great location. How big a room do you need when you're out enjoying a big city anyway. Check in process easy once you screenshot or memorize the door codes.

The place is perfect! The location is perfect! Close to the subway, shops, buses, and restaurants. Don't let the entrance at the street scare you. When you are inside the Inn and in your room, it is perfect. The owner even let us do a late checkout. They respond very quickly to messages.

SloveniaThere are three locks with codes to get to your room. It's a hassle doing it everytime. The elevator is old and rickety. The doors to the stars warn you not to leave them open because of the rats. Owners will email you relentlessly to do the "contactless check in".
Clean, relatively easy to find. The location was good. It was relatively quiet. The shower was hot with good pressure. Close to the subway and tram.

United KingdomLike most places in Hong Kong, it can be noisy with traffic and pedestrians right outside the window. There is also some noise from neighbouring rooms. That said, I don't know if there's anything that can be done to improve this - it's just Hong Kong. Just bring an eye mask and ear plugs.
The location is unbeatable for the price. The bathroom is well-equipped and clean. The bed is very firm, which suits me well. The landlady helped arrange for me to leave my suitcase at the accommodation until my flight later in the evening after check out. By Hong Kong standards, the room is spacious.

MalaysiaThe room may seem small but it is actually quite cozy. This room size is normal for Hong Kong.
Fast response from management and convenient location. Really can't beat the location. Management are always ready to respond and help answer any questions and enquiries. Outside appearance of the building may look old but the inside has been renovated nicely. Really love the place, management and location. Highly recommended! Wifi was good and stable. Enough for social media, YouTube and Netflix.

GermanyThe building, „lobby“, public areas are badly worn down. We were shocked at our arrival. The room is very tiny, no space in the bathroom to properly use the sink with closed door. The beds are uncomfortable.
Room was clean, suitable for students or backpackers with basic requirements. Busy location with lots of shops, Decathlon, IKEA and Metro are very close.

This hotel is such a hidden gem in Hong Kong! I used to live there for 3 years, and used to live at many hotels during covid. First of all, one of the owners Ms.Sara is beyond amazing! She's the one I communicated via WhatsApp. She's extremely friendly, polite, always replies to you fast. This is a staffless hotel, you don't have to worry about anything. I've also met other owner Ivy on my last stay - she's also so lovely. Location is super convenient! Close to everything, even to all the transportations. The room is very very clean. It's much cleaner than I had expected. The whole building is quite old. If you've never been to HK, you might get surprised but I should say it's funky (you can experience old school elevators!), and this kind of apartment building is pretty normal if you ever live in HK. You can enjoy some local life style. Highly recommended! I would definitely choose this hotel every time I get a chance to visit HK. Dear Ms.Sara & Ms.Ivy, thank you so much for your heartwarming hospitality. You and this hotel absolutely made my stay go smooth and enjoyable.
