Location is across a nice cafe, easy walk to station with many nearby shops and markets

The location is nice, not near a noisy street but not far away from everything. There is water in ground floor lobby.

They could not provide me the room type that I booked via this platform, on both occasions that I stayed there. On my second stay, after I waited for around 20 minutes to check in (I arrived between 10pm and 11pm and there was nobody at the reception for some time), I asked to give me the room type I booked; the receptionist switched my keycard for a different room… and it turned out to be room of the same type. I had to go back down to the lobby to point that out; to that the receptionist indifferently said that *his boss* said it’s the room I booked (well, no, it isn’t, I’m not blind). I could accept an apology if there was a listing mishap, but instead it feels like either a Kafkaesque riddle or a total disarray where no one at the establishment knows which room types they even have vs. which room types they list on this platform. Warning: the doors of rooms that I have seen so far will NOT lock if you just let it close by itself; make sure to manually close the doors fully, it’s very easy to leave with your door open and because there no keycard is needed to access the hotel, and reception is not always staffed, someone could literally just walk in.

The old guy in the front desk is not nice. The air conditioning system in the building was broken down one night, n can't fixed until the next day's 5pm. Extremely hot, n the floor was all wet. Not any notice or compensation. Worse experience with the price

Easy to get to Wanchai’s Lockhart Road and MTR station.

It was a T10 storm with a complete lockdown of the city and no transport and yet the little Hitler on the front desk still made me leave the room at 11 o’clock as ‘rules is rules’. So I had to wander around aimlessly for a whole day in a raging storm until transport re-opened. Total idiot.

The place is very clean and the people are very friendly and helpful. They speak English. Also the place has and excellent location.

Rooms are small but I suppose it is kind of normal in Hong Kong.

With the hotel’s genius deal price, this place is a gem. The location is excellent, in midst of all the local vibes and 7-10 min walk to MTR station or HK tram. Though rather quiet and secluded at night, its safe. There is also free coffee and filtered water at all times. The bed is comfy, the room is clean and the towels are new. There is also a bedroom slipper :)
