Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomLifts were an issue. Very busy and often waiting for a couple of minutes for one to arrive that wasn't already full. The hotel card often didn't work so a bit stressful. Gym could have had a wider range of equipment.
Boutique hotel with all the facilities you'd want in the summer (open air pool, aircon gym) but at a budget-friendly price point. The 'Terrible Baby' bar was great - nice place to hang out in the evening. Didn't pay for breakfast as there's a Starbucks next door and plenty of Cha chaan teng for a more local experience, but have heard it is good. Hotel is close to MTR and many of the main HK bus routes pass through there so easy to get around. Staff are friendly and relaxed. There are a couple of laundry businesses in the area that will do same day so there's no need to pay for expensive hotel laundry service.

NetherlandsWe had a severe leakage in the room. I told reception that I slept not well because of it. They didn't offered any compensation or something. I think with such a severe leakage they should have done something. Further the reception was understaffed with only three desk with check out for 300+ rooms.
That much was happening and the breakfast.

AustraliaThe lifts are always very busy and always full. It’s difficult to go up and down from my room particularly when I carry my luggages.
I don’t eat breakfast . The location seems good. But when I stayed there, I found it’s not. It’s located in the middle of all bus stops and MTR exits.

SwitzerlandHmm.. those lifts Aircon can do some work. As it’s a bit too slow and as well as most of the time the smells of the food makes you smells after that when you are catching the lift!!
The staff are super nice and helpful. The location is sooo convenient and close to everything you need. Public transport everywhere. You are just a few stops away from TST. There’s a lot of eatery around the corner here and there.

Singaporeexpect longer wait time for the lift during peak hours. the card scanner for the lift is not very sensitive, which further delays the waiting time.
its my second stay. back for its friendly staff and excellent location walking distance to Jordan MTR, and short taxi ride to West Kowloon Station. the room is just right for one person and luggage.

AustraliaImproved soundproofing in the rooms would help minimize disturbances caused by noise from other rooms.
Great family room - basically two well planned rooms which were better than the pictures. Location was also great - all public transport was just a stone's throw away.

United KingdomThe room was a bit dark and dated. I didn’t realise I had accidentally booked a twin room. It could have been taken care of a bit better in terms of furniture. The cupboard door in my room was broken and in bad condition.
Loved the pool and the atmosphere of the hotel.

United Arab EmiratesIt is minor acctually, for the view, building around hotel is old building, I was at 16th floor so i could see other building roof, very dirty, not good view. so I keep my curtain close. and it would be better if there is bidet at toilet.
I did really like my room. I stayed at trio room. The cleanliness was perfect and the room was spacious. There is food hall under the room, when we so tired to go out we ate there and alot of choices of food. for the location, easy to get train and bus. If want to take taxi, hotel staff can call it for you.

IrelandLoved my stay here! The view was great from our room, and the service was excellent. Staff were always around, ready to help with anything. I especially appreciated the availability of wheelchair when I needed it for my father— it made my trip so much easier. It's easy to request from staff whatever you need! I love that it is close to bus stops and MTRs plus it's proximity to shops and restaurants made our stay more comfortable.

AustraliaThe corridors and rooms were a little dated, as you could tell from the carpet and around some of the fixtures. Nevertheless, I felt the room was clean to my standard.
Convenient location, few minutes walk from metro station. Next to convenience store, grocery store and wingon. Size of room was very comfortable for 2. Hotel definitely has character and quirk, with an excellent yumcha restaurant downstairs along with a dining hall; there are also shared lounges, a small gym, and event/gallery spaces. Housekeeping service was excellent. Would stay here again.

SwitzerlandEverything was great apart from a rude female staff at the reception working at around 9am on 17.06.2025. I just wanted to borrow a pen but she told me in an angry voice that she was dealing with another customer. I saw many pens that were not being used so I took one to write some post cards. She stared at me angrily for like seconds that felt forever and then proceeded to roll her eyeballs.
