Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Hong KongThere are only two lifts so waiting for the lifts can take awhile especially if there are a lot of people. It can be a bit troublesome to be on bottom floor going down as sometimes the lifts could be too full from people on the higher floors going down. There is also a small light in our room, which could have been the smoke sensor, that blinks so the room isn't as pitch black as we would prefer but still dark enough if you don't pay attention to it.
It was clean and all the essentials like toothbrush, toothpaste and hair dryer was included. It is also close to the train. If you need help with something, you can call or scan the QR code which leads to an app for you to request things and they will do their best to bring things to you (e.g. iron, toiletries etc) right away which is helpful when you are tight on time. They don't have any cutleries, but you can go down to reception to ask for a spoon or fork or make a cup of coffee or tea in their coffee machine for free. You can also refill a jug of water there. The shower has a strong pressure. The bathroom is quite see-through. They have a few USB ports by the television for charging your phones etc.

Our stay was very pleasant. The hotel room we booked had decent lighting and ventilation. The bed was comfortable and there was enough storage space. I appreciated the iron and stand available in the room. The staff were pleasant and lovely during our stay. The breakfast options were standard and I appreciated the cleanliness of the common spaces.

The room is relatively big (compared to other hotels in Central/Sheung Wan area). One male staff member was very helpful during check-in. The cleaning crew are so nice despite the language difference.

SingaporeThe staff, Dexter, at the front desk is very unfriendly and not helpful at all. Seemed reluctant to offer any answer when asked. Talks softly behind the mask and showed his frustration when asked to repeat. A lady who is helping with the new staff during the check in is not very customer centric as well, quite high handed. Need to ask for my special request even though I have indicated. Otherwise, the other staff are nice and helpful. The floor in the room could be good if carpeted as it’s cold during winter. Not really worth the price given bad staff attitude and service.
It’s spacious compared to other hotels in Hong Kong. All necessary toiletries are provided. Provides coffee and pastries for all guests on the morning.

Excellent location at a central yet quiet spot. The staff was absolutely excellent as well and they helped me out a lot after I had a massive flight delay which caused me to arrive one day later than expected in Hong Kong. Can't thank them enough. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable in a modern design, neither too fancy nor looking old or out of date. Just perfect if you intend to explore Hong Kong and not stay on the room too much time.

PhilippinesI have bad experience about the young male front desk officer at iclub Sheung Wan. When I needed assistance at around 6am, I found the front desk staff asleep at their post. Not only was this unprofessional, but it was also incredibly frustrating as I struggled to wake them up despite repeated attempts. Such behavior is unacceptable, especially in a hospitality setting where guests rely on staff for support 24/7. This incident left me feeling neglected and questioning the hotel’s commitment to guest service. I hope management addresses this issue promptly to prevent future occurrences.
I had a wonderful experience staying at iclub Sheung Wan. The ambiance was absolutely delightful – calm, welcoming, and beautifully designed. The lighting and décor created a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The common areas, such as the lobby and lounge, were stylish yet cozy, making it a pleasure to spend time there. Overall, the hotel’s ambiance significantly enhanced my stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and aesthetically pleasing getaway.

Hong KongThe lifts were not serving the floors in the usual way, often passing the floor without stopping (I guess they were going wherever the button was pressed first?); because of that, and because only two lifts were available for over 30 floors, it happened more than once at peak time that I had to wait for several minutes - even up to 10 minutes - for my lift, until I decided to press the arrow in the opposite direction (e.g. up, even if I wanted to go down), at which point the lift stopped, made me go up all the floors, and then down; not sure how much longer I would have to wait if I didn't do that.
Very good value choice for Hong Kong; the room was a pretty average size (for Hong Kong), but it was clean, and the bed was very comfortable; the breakfast was very simple and of average quality, but it's not common having free breakfast in Asia, so it was a nice and unexpected addition. It's in a relatively residential area, but not far from most destinations, and very easy to access with public transport.

ThailandThe lifts (elevators) were an absolute joke. On check out, it took me over 30 MINUTES to be able to get a lift down! With luggage and the lifts being absolutely full, it was impossible to get in until after a very long wait and eventually squeezing in. Unbelievable, totally unacceptable and the management should work to address this by making the lifts more efficient and fit for purpose. Imagine missing a flight or business meeting just because you’re waiting for a lift!!
