The room was exactly as in the pictures. It had all the necessary amenities and it was excellent value for money. Renovated and quite spacious room for a guesthouse in Chungking Mansions. Big windows with enough natural light. Helpful host who answered all my questions.

If you’re taller than 1.8m the bed might be a bit small for you. Also, the check in was done remotely and I am glad I had purchased a local SIM card to facilitate the process. Toilet plumbing had issues one day which has to do with the building and not the accommodation.

Need to clean up the messy ground floor

We stayed for 5nights & 6days. They change our towel 3times. Everytime we are outside they also clean the room its giving 5star hotel. So clean and smells so good. My pictures are after check out. I forgot to take pictures before we stayed. Sorry because we are amazed.

Maybe the elevator its quite smelly, its smell smoke😊 but its acceptable becuase its a public elevator.

Our flight was rescheduled due to weather,we text them by whatsapp we should arrive on 4am which out of our control,their reply with late checkin guidelines and friendly assurance.On the 2nd morning,we saw the female housekeeper who are polite to us,the room we stay is clean and we can store our baggage after checkout,very wonderful.We have been Hong Kong few years ago,this guest house are still better than others and even our thought.

I spoke with a person at the hotel on the phone, but they were overbearing and yelled at me without giving me a chance to speak. I will never be going back there.

We recently stayed at this property with our family, which includes four adults and one child, and we were extremely impressed by the landlord’s kindness and responsiveness. From the very first meeting, the landlord was always warm and friendly, greeting us with a smile every time we interacted. During our stay, Hong Kong experienced heavy rainstorms, and unfortunately, we discovered that one of the beds was wet. We immediately took photos and contacted the landlord about the issue. To our delight, they responded right away and quickly arranged for us to move to another room without any hassle. Their prompt action and willingness to resolve the problem made our stay much more comfortable. We truly appreciate the landlord’s hospitality and efficiency in handling the situation. It’s rare to find such a considerate and professional host, and we are all satisfied with our experience / recommended!

If you're looking for the cheapest accommodation in downtown Hong Kong, Chungking Mansions is the place. The rooms are extremely small, and so tight that only one person can move at a time.

A stay in "chunking mansions" is something on a travellers bucket list, to experience local life. it is als located very convenient. it is not to expect luxury, it is all about the experience! further you have airconditioning, bathroom, space underneath your bed. groundfloor building you can buy everything you possible need we liked to wave in elevators camera, you see it downstairs on a tv the guesthouse was clean and we had nice ugrade

Was clean, good AC, good communication with the staff, the shower with a lot of water.

The room extremely small, no space for 2 people and suitcases. On our way to the room was dirty and small pack of items. The waiting for the elevator was desperate, the shower uncomfortable no space. The TV never works, the refrigerator and microwave was available outside the room. Not a Pleasant stay. The outside won’t feeling safe.

A little bit small but good location, good value for the money. We had to buy HK sim card to call the owner to inform him that we arrived. Overall good for backpackers

Perfect! The location is very near to tourist spots (Ave. of Stars, Victoria Harbor, Hong Kong Museum, Clock Tower, K11 Musea, Temple Street Night Market and more!). Train stations and bus stations are also walking distance, so very convenient. The room is just right in size, very clean and comfy too. The property manager and staff are also very accommodating. I must say: affordable price, but quality is very nice. 😊 Thank you, God bless you more! 🙏

Ground floor building.

Security was very good. Close to everything, and I could walk to places.

Drop off luggage was a disaster. I had to wait a long time for somebody to help me. Especially after a long flight. I would have like some cutlery in my room, especially a spoon for coffee.

Clean room like advertised.Location is convenient,close to different kind of transports and harbour,especially short distance to exhibition centre.It suits who need a clean,wifi, and safe room at night but its not elegant use.All fundamental essential living amenities are functioning.Many choices of food nearby.

The central location was good. The room was safe. Samson who met us was very friendly. That's it!

Be aware that this isn't a Guest House as we know it. It's a small room in a building and you have to go through a food market to get to it. If you are a solo female traveller or tall, then this is not fur you. The room is only for sleeping as it's so small. The toilet doubles up as the shower!
