I don’t understand, why for the hotel like hayat they don’t put everyday water 😭😭😭 if you wanna get more than what they gave you then you have to put extra. It is actually ridiculous …

We got a nice big room (if you know sizes in HK then you know what I mean😅) panoramic views. Location is also nice because it’s close to mall, metro, and some small bazar around. Nice breakfast and amazing rooftop bar.

There was very noisy building work going on in the hotel for the whole of our stay. We weren't told that this would be the case until we arrived (so no advance warning from the Hyatt or from Booking.com)

Modern, clean, great views from room, pool and bar. Calm and relaxing after the bustle of the city. Husband got a card and cake for birthday which was a nice touch. Accommodated a late check out as we had an evening flight.

The location was amazing. Right on the waterfront and a amazing view of victoria harbour at nighttime. The staff were very attentive and had a good concierge. The gym and infinity pool were very clean with more good views. The surrounding mall was high quality and the free tokens for HK snacks were very good. Great access to metro, ferry and ding ding all within a 5 min walk which is good for sightseeing.

Check in was a little confusing, we initially missed the front entrance of the building and ended up entering from the side. The hotel being located inside of a mall didn't help with the confusion but eventually someone helped guide us to the check-in desk which was located on the second floor.

My Mom couldn't stop commenting on the room views! The details were excellent and the room amenities were very considerate. The water filter was nice granted it was a little slow but overall the stay was amazing. The custodians were so friendly and it was assuring to see them constantly on the job, it's safe to say they were exceeding in their service.

The staff welcoming you for the breakfast was not so friendly sometimes. Too rushed (even at 7h), and when I asked them a question, the ladies were not so nice. Also, you need to wake up early to find a place to sit at the restaurant, since after 8h, it's all packed.

The breakfast had a good variety of international offerings. The rooms were nice albeit a little bit on the small side. We love the rooftop bar and the staff there are always friendly and took note to remember our orders.

The hotel appeared to suffer from issues with damp, as numerous air blowers and dehumidifiers were spotted throughout the property. This was notable on the guest floors as well, where the air did smell of damp. The breakfast dining hall appeared to suffer from a degree of overcrowding at peak times (although this was openly communicated to guests by the hotel and in signs displayed at the dining hall entrance), which meant that tables did feel stacked very closely to one another.

The Hyatt Centric is an upscale mid-range hotel in the city's vibrant Causeway Bay/North Point neighborhood which offers a decent quality to cost ratio for a hotel of this kind in Hong Kong. The property consists of two towers with a central podium level which directly connects to a mall below the hotel, and is within 2 minutes walking distance to the North Point MRT. The room in the property was tastefully furnished, relatively spacious for HK standards, and provided access to the hotel lounge upstairs on the 21st floor where refreshments were served from midday and a cocktail hour was provided in the evening. The breakfast buffet was made available each morning at the dining hall connecting the two hotel towers and was varied and tasty: good selection of European and Asian faire, including staples like an egg/omelette station, congee, Korean breakfast dishes and HK dumpling and noodle soup. The hotel staff were courteous and for the most part helpful, even notifying me of leaving a personal item behind after I had checked out which was very much appreciated. We visited as a group of friends and enjoyed our stay there.
