Service at the Beach Club didn't meet our expectations.

The restaurant didn’t have a wine list. They gave you the choice between one white and one red 😳. Supposedly a wine menu is coming! The food was good. Also, I wish they had coffee maker in the room. They do make coffee every morning in the lobby area that you can get but it means you have to get dressed!

Blue Roatan resort is a beautiful small (9rooms) resort tuck away in the trees a very short walk (they have tuk tuk to take you) to their beach club. Some very good restaurants are walking distance also. The Staff is so so nice and will do everything to make your stay memorable. We loved our very spacious room with balcony and sea view. We will definitely go back.

Not directly on the water, carts weren’t big enough to ride together as a group most of the time.

It was beautiful. The staff was absolutely AMAZING! Resort itself is not on the beach, but there is a “Beach Club” down on the water that is wonderful! It was a nice little walk to breakfast every morning and we were able to catch rides in the little carts back and forth if we wanted.

Water pressure needed to be better in the shower, friendlier front desk check in girl she was okay not much help. Need more things to have like toothpaste or even toothbrush to purchase. Cleaner area by the private pool on the deck no one went in there because of it.

Queen room with view was beautiful the bed comfortable, wifi service good in that room and housekeeping service was good and room smelled nice. Staff were excellent by the resort restaurant friendly, very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was amazing every morning even evenings nv for dinner!

The safe didn’t work. There was no way to charge food or beverages from the restaurant to our room.

There was an onsite restaurant, pool and lots of outdoor space to relax.

We liked everything. Just would point out that the resort is ~10 min walk to West Bay (via the beach) and ~40 min walk to West End (via the beach but cannot walk if high tide or poor weather). The hotel has more of a remote feeling. If visiting during winter season, the winds during the night can be intense to where the decorative wind chimes and structures on the property make noises as they clang into the hotel; I wish I had sleeping pills a couple of the nights as I am a light sleeper and it was loud.

We loved this property. We stayed in room 8 for 8 nights and had a really nice balcony view. Everything was clean and the staff were all excellent. Breakfast was great and we ate at the restaurant Azul several times during our stay and the food is a bit pricey but great quality. The complimentary airport transfers are very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The water pressure is extremely low.

This is a small beautiful property. It has 9 rooms and they are all perfectly situated. The views of the sunset as it sets on the water is absolutely breath taking. This resort is located at the end of West Bay. It is away from the noise and party atmosphere located directly in West Bay. The food was great and the chef was accommodating. They are in process of building condos in order to house larger parties. The restaurant is outside and every view is amazing. Their grounds are filled with greens and little quaint touches that make the experience unique. The workers are all hard working and conversational. Carlos and Alex were super helpful and the reception host Gisela is true Gem! The beach is located within walking distance. They do have one small pool at the resort and one small pool by their private beach. I recommend this property if your looking for a peaceful getaway.

Blue Roatan desk staff (Kenia and Gisela) did all excursions and arranged all transportation trough one agent. Manuel was their chosen agent and he charged 50% to 67% more for all goods and services than other vendors on West Bay beach (eg $25 for snorkel equipment vs $15 and $40 for beach passes vs $25). Manuel also added 20% to costs for excursions if payment was with credit card($366 vs $300 if by cash). Our best bargains for activities were with people whom we contacted directly.

The beach is not very good. When you walk into the water the bottom is very clayish...weird.

The lush hilltop location is very relaxing and has an ocean view.

The front desk lady was very incompetent. I would send a text to get towels and it would take an hour or more. Or wouldn't respond at all. Saturday in the office on her phone. Also the maid service was very inconsistent. Half the time wouldn't give us the right amount of toiletries or towels.

The food was always very good. Staff at beach club and Azul were always amazing.

We are really disappointed with our last bookings with the blue Roatán hotel. Originally, we had planned three nights, but added one night in a separate reservation, really looking forward to our vacation on the island. When we arrived, we did not receive the room that we reserved. The shower had an ugly shower curtain and not the glass wall as shown in the king suite we had reserved. The safe was not working, and the worst part was that there was little running (dripping) water in the shower (no water pressure) and it was cold. No hot water!! We called the reception desk and they said they were fixing the problem and that we would have hot shower water that same day. This never happened. We only got warm water on the very last day of our vacation which made our stay very unpleasant. We had to shower with cold water and this also made me get a cold and a cough. The recepcionist first said she would guarantee my money returned and nothing happened. Then I talked to the manager (Ricardo) and he said he would also return one to two nights worth because of the many problems we had. He gave me his card and now he is not even returning my messages. This was our yearly vacation and we were very disappointed!!

The staff at the restaurant and the beach club was always super friendly and helpful.

This place was far from peaceful, people from maintenance working and making noise no stop everyday, music blastic at the beach club, loud music and workers from the restaurant insanely loud, room service which took almost 2h to get to my room during empy hours. The staff did try their best to be nice, but the service for the asking price, it's ridicolous. The place could have a great potential.

There is a restaurant on site, however it wasn’t open for lunch or breakfast. However the hotel has a lovely beach club house which is about 7 min walk or via the free hotel transportation. It wasn’t an issue for me, but thought to mention it.

A very smart hotel with a very nice, Boutique like room (the one I slept in). The view from my room was also amazing!
