The dock was under repair so unfortunately we had to use the resort next door or walk 5 minutes to get a water taxi. Pretty minor issue as we liked to walk to the beach.

We stayed 4 nights at the Caribe Teroso in Roatan close to West Bay. The resort is approx. 40 minutes from the airport so its quite easy to access by taxi or rental car. The taxi cost was $35 USD. There was a shuttle at the resort that you could hire to take you to activities or back to the airport. The costs were similar to the taxi rates. Check in: The check in was quick and easy and we were able to check in earlier as our flight arrived before the check in time. Room: We have a family of 4 so our room was a bit tight as we originally booked for 3 people. The room featured a Queen size bed and a pull out couch. The kitchen and fridge were nice to have as we bought snacks and drinks for the room. Having A/C was huge as it was quite humid during the evenings. Resort and Pool: The Pool was great and the pictures really gave you a good impression of what it was going to be like. We enjoyed lounging on the chairs and cooling of in the pool. The slides were fun for my 12 year old although they didn't slide that well. He still enjoyed climbing on the slide structure and playing in the tunnel. There was a fun swim up bar that served drinks and food. Restaurant: We ate at the complementary breakfast every morning where there was a choice of 3 meals each day. IN addition to the meals, they had coffee, tea and juice each morning. This was a great way to start the day and we found the food quite filling. We also ate at the pool side bar where there was quite a selection of entrees and meals. Overall: The resort and staff were great based on our expectations. We wanted a quieter location and this was the perfect spot for getting away from the crowds of West Bay. It was a 15 minute walk to the other side of the beach where there was great snorkeling from the beach. We also snorkeled in front of the resort and saw many fish including barracudas and schools of fish under the dock.

I didn’t like that I had reserved a room with a view to the pool which costed more ofcs! once I got there I was given a different room, completely different then the pics :( I went back and told the front lady and she said it wasn’t available do to “construction” no apology whatsoever.

Drinks are more expensive than most places nearby, though our bartenders made the price worth it 😊 The building was under construction, which was unexpected, so it was noisy most of the time. The beds were rather hard and uncomfortable, including springs poking up on some of them. The kitchenware in our room was very scratched and old, which made cooking difficult. Ants!! Be sure to keep all food in the fridge! We had a large group staying in Delfin tower, and made the one shower work, but we needed more places to hang towels to dry. Very few hooks.

The breakfast options were wonderful, as was the staff. We got to know each of them. The location is away from the crowds of West Bay Beach, and was beautiful and much more peaceful than down the way. The security guards and locals brought us fruits, just because! They were all so wonderful. The dock area was our favorite, and we snorkeled there most days. We woke up often to Macaws flying over, and truly enjoyed our stay.

Maybe a little more quiet time by the pool during the day instead of playing music all day long.

The property is beautiful and in the most perfect location. There is a dock from which you can take a water taxi right to and from the hotel. The rooms were quirky, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was good with lots of options on the menu. We had an amazing dinner on the dock one night, the food was excellent. The pool is great but swimming in the sea was even better there is a dock with steps into the water and tables and chairs right in the sea. The staff was very capable and friendly. Would come back and highly recommend the Caribe Tersoro.

The pool water wasn't circulating and I felt like it was really cloudy.Some staff were really friendly and others didn't give a damn and it showed.

We were overcharged for our stay, and the shuttle left without us at the airport were our two biggest complaints, and the hotel didn't communicate well with us while trying to work out these issues. In the end we worked them out, but it added unnecessary stress to the start of our vacation. We had been overcharged about $200 for our room and they never gave an explanation for why. They wouldn't refund the amount to our credit card but said we could use it as a credit for things like food and drinks while we were there. Luckily, we enjoyed the food and drinks there otherwise it would have been more annoying. The other issue was the shuttle left without us at the airport, it took a while for us to get through customs so I'm not sure if they just thought we weren't coming. Once we got through though someone told us they had seen the shuttle already leave. We tried to get in contact with the property, but no one answered. Eventually, we just took a taxi from the airport.

The location of this hotel was excellent. It's located right at the end of the West Bay Beach, so it is a very very short walk to the beach and everything that it has to offer while avoiding being right on top of the crazy busy beach. It's a nice walk up to West End if you're up for an adventure. I also really enjoyed the size of the place. There's only a handful of rooms, so it doesn't feel like those mega cookie cutter resorts. The food and drink were also really good here as well as the staff at the restaurant/bar. I would much rather be at this beautiful boutique hotel away from the busy crowds than right on the beach.

Honestly I can't think of anything that wouldn't sound like nit picking. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone.

Our family stayed 2 nights in West End 6 nights on the mainland and 2 nights in West Bay and my personal highlight was having breakfast on the balcony here. Right on the beach and front row view for all the boat traffic. The location is excellent as once you arrive everything is within walking distance. The staff are friendly and speak English very well, with a special shout out to Eddie and Sean, they always had a smile to greet you. The rooms were huge with a lot of personality, the air conditioning was ice cold. The food at the hotel was an added bonus and you can't beat the setting: on a pier overlooking the beach and crystal clear water.

My hotel room was 3 different but the room that was for 12 guest it the most expensive in my literary but it doesn't fill my expectations.

The breakfast menu offered different choices, the restaurant near to the ocean it was a good panoramic experience. The hotel location was perfect to walking close to the beach, and restaurants 👌

Wooden wall separating our room, Topaz, to room next door,Tropical. Could hear everything but Victoria quickly resolved this and moved us to an amazing suite, Oceana, the view was beautiful
