The heat; but what can you do? It's much more natural than West Bay. I felt more connected to nature in this jungle environment.

The location was fantastic. Right at the beach and Sundowners a Canadian restaurant and bar with craft beer on tap!). Michelle and Ashanti were extremely helpful and very knowledgable. Room was perfect except for the heat which is not their fault; it's Roatan in the summer. Two large fans did their job though; especially at night. The hotel was right where all the taxis, water taxis, restaurants, gift shops, grocery stores, and tour guides were. In my opinion, West End is a lot nicer, more congenial, easy going, laid back, and less touristy, and more entertaining, than West Bay.

Unfortunately the WiFi in the room didn't work in the first two days of my stay.

Excellent location. Can't be any better than this. The room is cozy, clean, and spacious. The staff were helpful. The WiFi was pretty good when it's working. Great value hotel!

Budget place but perfect value for money. Next to the beach. You can snorkel and see quite a lot of fish from the very same beach. It is possible to join as a snorkeler the diver crew every afternoon at a cheap price.

I loved everything about our stay here. Great location, very walkable, friendly staff, and very cheap diving.

Sometimes the water went out, but it was back quite quick

The location was ideal, real great combination for if you want to dive and stay at the island. Get put of your bed, head for some breakfast and go straight to your diving gear, perfect!

We had really nice stay at chillies. Room was comfortable and there was a lot of shared space in the house. Kitchen is well equipped and the other room was free so we had whole house to ourselves. WiFi was working good, and dives with them were fun!

The mattress is the only thing I would upgrade. Everything else is great!

Ashanti at the front desk is welcoming, as the helpful owner, Michelle. The location is ideal for scuba diving, with Native Sons Dive Shop providing efficient, convenient, and affordable services, along with an engaging multi-national staff. The shared kitchen is well-equipped for cooking, and Yahongrey serves delicious, budget-friendly meals right on the property. The shower is hot & the fans are more than ample.

WiFi and internet access was problematic. The falling mangoes took some getting used to. A small stool in the room would have been nice.

The location is the best feature. Check in and check out was smooth. Nearby shared kitchen was very convenient.

It's a cabin in the busiest strip in Roatan across the street from a beautiful beach. What's not to like 😊🫶🏽

The sheets could be replaced they were getting old. The room I stayed in was great but I didn't like seeing some bugs.I would have liked if there was a microwave in the kitchen.

I really appreciated the staff they were very helpful and kind. Ashanti in the office made my stay very comfortable. She was very attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. She also gave me information about the island and how to get around.

If you want more luxurious accommodations seek elsewhere! There is no AC and very basic rooms, but full of charm :)

We loved staying in the cabins. It's in a forest area so we stayed cool with the fans. We loved relaxing in the hammocks after a morning of scuba diving. Staff was friendly, it was great to be able to cook some meals in the kitchen and it's close to everything.

Bed sheets weren't clean when I first arrived, and I also had tens of ants on the bigger bed, and since the reception is only open between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, I had to wait until the next day to get my sheets changed. Good thing there were 2 beds in that room. They did change my sheets when I asked them to.
