We have travelled a lot around the world, and this is our favorite hotel of them all! We have been there twice now already. The hotel is evidently managed exceptionally because everything runs perfectly and all staff in all the areas treat the guests exceptionally, with professionalism and kindness. Best spot on the beach where you can see turtles and rays if you head out snorkelling, and the breakfast and dinner are wonderful. We love it! We will be back.

The shower had poor water pressure and the pillows were very thin and flimsy. The $110 charge for a 25-minute airport shuttle ride is outrageous, especially since it wasn’t even a private car

Brand-new property with very friendly staff, spacious rooms, and a great breakfast. The property is well maintained and located 25 mins from the airport. The fitness facilities are excellent, though the spa prices are absurd—over $500 for a couples massage. Do yourself a favor and get a massage on the beach for about $50 instead.

Well.... Our view from our room was decent but at even the 3rd floor, it was obstructed a bit by the trees. I asked if we could go to a higher floor but was told that they couldn't do that due to all the rooms already booked up. Other than that and another issue that our friends had with their room and being moved to more satisfactory accommodations, not really much else.

Loved the cleanliness and free welcome drinks! Staff was fantastic. Breakfast was absolutely terrific with so much to chose from and even freshly cooked options as well! Beach is only a stones toss away and they will help you get situated there too! Cesar was our host on the beach and let me say, if he would come and live in the States, I'd hire him in a heartbeat! Honestly made the time at the beach worth every penny we spent! He's the jewel of the Kimpton no doubt! Such a wonderful personality and really understands his role there!

Not crazy about guests "reserving" all the pool chairs at the crack of dawn and never using them. Our room by the pool was a little weirdly configured, but we booked only a few weeks out. Food variety could be better and include more local options.

Snorkeling off the beach was magical. Turtles, an incredibly alive reef, and so many fish. Equipment included in your resort fee. The food at all the restaurants was good and not crazy expensive. The location at the end of West Bay beach was just outside the fray and absolutely picture perfect.

The architecture and design that went into this hotel was well thought out for the location. The mattress was phenomenal, the bathroom was gorgeous, but above all else the staff was well trained, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Thank you for the upgrade.
