Thank you for your positive review. I do understand you travelled all night from Spain and an early check in would have been welcoming however the room was booked the night before and needed to be cleaned. For early check ins it is recommended to book the room the night before, so it is available for your arrival at 11 a.m.

Thank you for your review for your 1 night reservation. This mature couple arrived early in the pouring rain and were immediately displeased when the 1 night reservation was not ready at 11:40 am. Guests had just left and it needed to be cleaned. Your wife did not want any part of visitng our restaurant, 25 steps to the facility from the check-in location to wait on the room. You departed in the same taxi and returned after 3 pm. You departed the following morning after taking your free breakfast. Without advising I upgraded you to a top floor Queen Deluxe Room, in our main lodge. You did book and paid for our SMALL DOUBLE ROOM room located, as shown, down some concrete steps at our Blue and White Villas. I did not bring this to your attention as it was difficult to communite with you from the start. I hope you rested well and the balance of your journey was safe. Thank you for considering Guava Grove.

Thank you for picking Guava Grove for your family reunion of 10 persons. Truly all beds are not hard. Too bad you did not ask for instruction on the remote control for a fans in unit #5. The air conditioning works excellent and ceiling fans are an added bonus. All the rooms booked were garden view of beautiful grounds. Your room rate per person factored to $29.31 per person, per night and with breakfast and air conditioning included I do not understand how Guava Grove does not warrant a great score on Value for Money. It is less than a hostel. Please reconsinder your value for money score. We do hope you enjoyed Roatan for your Christmas Family Reunion.

Thank you for your positive review. We appreciate the note on the entrance. The muni has completed the concrete road however they are not finished with edge of road services. We will soon be sparkly at the front end. We just completed a water way project which is already helping beautify as we prepare for rainy season.

Thank you for your review. We were pleased to host your small family. The square footage of the room is listed here on Booking.com. For a week long holiday perhaps you should have considered our larger villa with 1200 sq ft a massive kitchen, dining area,, salon and vista of the ocean, pool and gardens. The price of $80.00 per night plus tax which you paid for this room with kitchenette and 2 x double beds, compared to the top floor 1200 sq ft villa with 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms at $175.00 per night is a large spread and probably did not meet your budget. We are happy that you enjoyed our property. Most persons travelling economically find the taxi and bus systems which operate at our gate efficient and economical with a taxi at $2 per person to West End and the Bus $1.00. Many travellers visiting Roatan will rent a car a day or two to visit all the amazing areas of Roatan of which are spread out island wide. Often times people hire tour guides to take them to various attractions however this is not always necessary as in our location there is a zip line with animal park, a petting farm for families with young children, scuba and snorkelling, the dolphin experience and Carambola gardens. All of these are within 1 km of our gate. Thank you for staying with us and choosing Guava Grove.

Yes most Hondurans find they need a televation. Sorry you did not notice that we do not provide television in our economical hotel. We are installing Starlink this week! This will provide all guests that are up to date electronically the best of service.

Thank you for the review. All you had to do was ask for Shampoo miss we would have provided more. Your family was lovely. I am glad you rented a car so you could explore Roatan with your own tours to the animal parks and different beaches and to the East Side .

It was my pleasure to host your family group of 9 in three of our economical rooms. We did upgrade one room to the larger one bedroom unit for the small family. The top floor 3 bed, 4 bath would have been perfect for you all had it of been available. All the same we enjoyed your company and are pleased you appreciated our location and that the property suited your family reunion.
