The host was incredible! There were beautiful fruit trees all around and it smelled amazing! There was a xylophone, some swings to hang out in outside, and the host was super helpful. He was very polite and offered coffee and extra help with the kitchen and information about the rest of our travels. Very friendly and helpful! Definitely stay here!

Its very spacious, Juan was attentive to my needs and overall a great guy who gave me recommendations on the nearest Supermarket, bank and the nearest Mirador

This hostel is in a very large old house in the residential and safe area of the town. The host was gracious to provide guidance on where to go and what to do in and around the city. I used Uber ($3-$4/each trip) to get around since the bus/train wasn’t available.

There are no grocery stores, shops, and/or restaurants nearby.

The host is great! Was very helpful with directions to the hostel, restaurant recommendations, and arranging an airport shuttle.

Calm and nice area that we could relax after a really long flight. They had a nice garden and the owner was super friendly and helpful.

Juan was very friendly and peaceful. He always made an effort to ensure everyone felt comfortable here. He also took the time to show me his garden and the surrounding area. This area is very quiet and safe. I felt completely comfortable. Thank you.

Lovely leafy large block setting in a safe area. I walked 2 kms to shops and felt safe. Juan is a wonderful helpful host and he included me on a fun night out with his daughter and another guest.

Good area on the edge of the city close to a great trail up the mountain. Awesome host who was really flexible with my changing arrival and leaving times and so helpful with info on how to get around and what there is to do in the area, I definitely recommend anyone travelling through San Pedro to stay here.

Good Hostel

Juan really looks out for you and makes sure you reach your next destination after San Pedro. I felt like I got a guardian looking out for me. It's not in the city center and will cost around $15USD and 30 mins via Uber to reach his place. His place is 15mins / 5 USd via USD to reach the bus. However, it's quiet and good place for a stop over to reach your next Destination.

Very chill and relaxed. Nice places to visit and hang out outside. Shower was amazing and room upgrade for free

It was a little out of the way, about an hour from downtown where presumably everyone would like to be? This didn't bother me as I love nature and hiking. I got to see toucans and eagles one morning

Far away from services and hard to find on a short dead end street and no sign out front with name of hostel for identification among adjacent residential homes.
