Location was great! And loved the kitchen and plenty of space in the room. Will definitely stay again.

They are currently constructing a pool. We will just have to come back to enjoy it.

Unbeatable location. WiFi is fast (80 Mbps) for remote work, though there is no good desk setup (the bar is kind of a standing desk). Shower is hot and consistent. AC works but could be a little stronger. Some rooms have ocean view

Staff can do a better job at cleaning the bathroom.. smell from the sink, nowhere to hang a towel or wet clothes

This place was great and exceeded our expectations, especially in this very reasonable price range. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, made sure we had everything we needed, including a putting us in contact with a reliable driver anytime we needed him. Our Comfort Studio was spacious, clean, tastefully decorated, and had a well equipped kitchen. But what we really liked was the location, a few steps from the best part of the beach to snorkel Half Moon Bay out to the coral reef. It is a very safe, family friendly area, and in the evenings local families would be swimming with their children. In general, people are friendly and helpful here, and most speak pretty good English. And there are great places to eat within a couple of blocks either side. We will definitely be coming back again!

    Location

I had to text for extra toilet paper. One roll doesn’t last 8 days. Ceiling fans inside didn’t work & Futon is old. Patio sliding door didn’t close properly to lock

    Property response:

this is true, we got the ceiling fan fixed but the futon is only 2 yrs old and the sliding locks fine

    Location, beach across the street

It is almost impossible to find reception. No doors to toilet, dark room, Veranda besides the construction site on the hotel yard, big noise from construction, mud and dust, workers walking around. Last day we moved to another hotel, we did not spoile our last day on Roatan ourselves. Never more.

    Fantastic location, staff was excellent

Some of the rooms are updated, mine was one of the older rooms.

    The location.

The pictures should be updated to reflect the current condition of the property. While the location was in a prime area of West End, the room and ceiling had holes in the walls, there were no doors leading to the bathroom (only thin curtains), poor lighting, the shower had residual hair and mold, and there was ongoing construction with loud machinery outside of the rooms. The Wi-Fi was also inconsistent. While the staff was friendly, I did not rest well or feel comfortable. I would not stay here again.

Brought groceries and fixed lunch and / or dinner in the full-size kitchen apartment. Enjoyed a hammock on the terrace and great air-conditioning. It's across the street from the beach on a the main road through and around Half Moon Bay. Nice esthetics

I was in breeze room 6. The room size was perfect for me. It had a large closet and a bathroom large enough for my needs. The staff and garden staff were amazing. One of them used is phone to translate what i was saying to understand me in english. I loved the garden. The garden helped to feel peace and relaxe. I have been to other hotel in roatan and Mame Trees is one the best to stay in. The hotel is in front of the beach. Beware to walk barefoot to the beach if you go swimming in front of the hotel. A homeless stole my sandals when i left them on the beach to go to swim and snorkel. Adam and his family are the owners and were always available for my needs. For instance i lost my room key in the ocean and the gave me a replacement without blaming me for the lost.

    Nothing to say
