It was a bit noisy in the room on a Saturday night, but by far not the worst we've experienced.

We got to check in early which was great. Delicious welcome drinks. The ?owner/manager was totally on it, ensured we were well taken care if. Arranged prompt airport shuttle, last minute snorkeling trip. Good ceviche and pizza in restaurant. We didn't have time to check out the pool.

The location is amazing, the attached restaurant has really good food and drinks, and the staff is really nice and professional, both the check in receptionist and the restaurant wait staff. I have zero complaints.

My friend had a hard time sleeping because of her bed. One time waited waiting 15 minutes and the waiter never came to the table. So we went down the street to eat

AC is not working properly, it doesn’t turn off when it reach desired temperature. I am a HVAC tech so I know what I am talking about. It was super cold or hot in the room.

There was a temporary issue with one of the room's AC unit, but it was quickly handled. I can't really think of anything negative to say otherwise.

Breakfast included was a huge plus. Another plus...always had cucumber and or regular cold water near reception, and the fans in the restaurant area are a huge plus to hanging out there, appreciating the view, eating or hanging out. The rooms are standard Honduran rooms...well equipped with soap/shampoo, hot water, closet, a chair, and many of the rooms have outdoor seating and even a hammock. Pizzas for lunch were great, and the staff was always nice, helpful, and worked out any questions/issues we had very quickly. The dive shop staff/instructors were great as well, and helped us there a ton...but were also super flexible and wanted to just make the dive we had the best they could. They even helped us coordinate getting to and from the airport.

After a week up in Sunset Villas, I moved down to the Splash Inn for one night after my flight out got pushed back a day. I knew the area at that point and liked how it's walking distance to everything. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Delivered for the night I needed. There's a dock right out front as well and you can organize dives through the hotel.

The mattress was much too hard. Our hips and shoulders feel bruised.

From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty! Everyone went above and beyond. The restaurant food was home cooked with love. The maid service was amazing. I have around 10,000 nights in hotels and they were the best! Centrally located to everything in the west end. The dive shop and staff top notch. The diving was spectacular. This crew was awesome. The pool at the villas was perfect for our lap swimming and it was quiet and peaceful. The dock was perfect for watching the incredible sunsets!
