How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Lovely place! We were worried because the place had no AC and Honduras can get really hot, but this is no issue in Copan!

Studio 22 is affiliated with Casa de Cafe and Iguana Azul Hostel. The breakfast at Casa de Cafe was nice. The location is great, and I liked the private studio.

Toilet cubicle is not completely closed off, with walls to medium height only.
Clean, comfortable and extremely space-optimized.

Nothing but I really didn't like Maybe a better fan could be a good idea as there was no AC
Everything was absolutely clean , well furnished , and in a good location The staff was nice , helpful and friendly And the food was yummy

Nothing that impacted our stay, it would be great if the tv had Netflix so you could have a night in, and if the kitchen had some basic - oil, salt etc
-very good use of space, room to hang clothes etc -well equipped small kitchen -great quiet location (except the birds!) but really easy to walk to everything, convenient for the bus to the boarder -very helpful staff - the view from the cafe is great Highly recommend for a couple

If I had to pick one thing that I didn't like was the small sofa. That's it.
The bed was comfortable and the hosts were friendly and kind. They recommended a few places to see and eat at and weren't wrong about any of them.

Nothing Everything was good.
This place is Spotlessly Clean. We loved this micro studio. It had every thing we needed. The bed was very comfortable. We are in our 60s and had no problems with the ladder. It was safe to have the windows open, fresh air. We felt safe all the time. It’s 10mins from the square but in a very quiet area. It was great to have somewhere to sit. The hot water shower was great pressure. If you needed anything you only had to ask. The toilet was not a problem for us.

We loved this charming little apartment from the first moment. It's super conveniently designed and perfectly equipped. It comes with a comfortable bed, a little kitchen area, coffee machine and free water. The location is perfect, it's only a short walk away from the centre. Everything is super clean and the stuff was very helpful.

They don’t take cards nor EUROs (widely accepted in the city) but only local currency or USD. It took me a while to find a working atm.
Staff were really available and helped me to arrange a transfer to El Salvador

The only thing that was a bit odd, was that the bathroom was located between the kitchen and shower and not very private. It was okay as we have travelled together often.
Having a private place to stay was great. The restaurant breakfast was outstanding. So good and fresh. The bread was so good. Finding Studio 22 was easy with Maps. The staff was excellent and helpful with what we wanted to see and do while in Copan. The shower had hot water which is always a bonus for me. Studio 22 was an awesome place to stay while visiting the Copan Ruins and surrounding beauty of Honduras.

Not a problem for us, but people with fear of highs or mobility issues may want to book something else, as the bed is located at the top of the room and are accessible via steep steps. You need to take care going down. Also, there was some noise in the evenings from the next door hostel courtyard that you could hear clearly into the room, but earplugs resolved that so not an issue for us.
Immaculate little studio with everything you need, we felt very comfortable here. Nice touches such as filtered water, different lighting options and appropriately placed hooks for hanging your stuff and lovely fresh towels were provided. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Could have easily stayed longer!
