At this high price I was expecting a bit more from a Marriott property. Very basic breakfast, nothing fancy. Rooftop can be skipped anytime, zero vibe zero views. Even after mentioning on booking that it was my birthday, nothing special was offered or done.

Very new property hence everything looks neat and clean. Decent rooms from rooms at higher floors. Got the room before the checkin time which is appreciable

We didn’t appreciate the age limit on the swimming area, and we had bigger expectations for the roof top bar. Minor items.

Every uber driver will tell you that it’s the tallest building in Croatia. People in split take pride in that fact and love to boast that they have one up over Zagreb. The hotel is great and you get fantastic views.

Pool should be bigger in such a nice hotel. Also parking should be included as the price for rooms is premium.

Beds were quality, real good nights sleep, stayed in a corner suite thing on the top floor, views were great. Staff also very helpful, the new girl at the front helped us get our desired room. Showers were also weirdly soft, in a good way. Breakfast good

Hotel is over a mile from the centre of the old town. Takes a 25 minute walk or a €20+ taxi ride. Not great in 34 degrees. A great hotel, but we would not have chosen it if we had realised how far it was from the centre of Split. Very strange and fussy key security system in the lifts and room access.

- Using the lift with your room key, seeing other guests having trouble with how to use the lift as it's not the same as any other hotel and staff had to show everyone - Room was not as clean when we checked it, hair was left in the bathroom and conditioner bottle was empty - Indoor pool was pretty small

- Amazing view of the town from our room - Spacious room and modern - Housekeeping did a great job daily - Food was great for lunch at the bar area - Strong WiFi - Super comfy bed

Only criticism possible (and that's searching for one!) is that the lift control via your room key-card did not always work or needed several attempts (plus no instructions probably did not help).

Excellent quality hotel, food and staff. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and very happy to stay again!

I heart everything from the next room throught the wall, talking and so on. It was beceaous of the emergency doors, it should be given a soundproofing mat between them.

Not ideal for kids , as the pool is in the spa which is adults only .. my son was sad that he couldn’t swim .. when I booked I thought it was Marriott and booked expecting a basic Marriott service level. But at check in learnt it’s 4 star but no bell desk or concierge or pool for kids.. Missed this on the booking form. But the staff were very helpful and helped us to get our bags to our room and help us with all our needs.. But if you have kids who want to swim and play this is not the property ..

The hotel is a business hotel so it’s efficient clean, neat.. helpful staff at front desk especially Theo who helped me and my 8 yrs old son with our bags … and they gave us tips where to eat where to go etc.. helpful staff and warm .. breakfast is good.. with lots of fruits, cheese, breads, and fresh eggs .. etc .. ideal before the start if a day of activities .. out room has excellent views .. of sea and mountains .. good size rooms …

Some locals turned up to use the pool, they were very loud, obnoxious, uneducated and not respectful of other guests.

Cleaners didn’t seem to come till early afternoon which meant they came up whilst my son was napping in the afternoon. I am sure if I told them to come earlier they would have but I thought that was a lot later then what I experienced before .

My room was bigger than expected and beds were comfortable. Had a great view with floor to ceiling windows.

3 things 1) it backs into an industrial area so your views aren’t the best 2) it’s not in old town. It’s an easy 25 minute walk and safe to walk but if you’re looking for being in old town.. this is not it 3) their room cards need an upgrade. They work terribly in the lift and while opening your room door
