How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The owner has strict rules.
The apartment was great. Location good. Apartment 3 has a lot of stairs but comfortable. It was clean amd has good quality.

A bit confusing to find, a bit far away from the center and the attic above the bed was disturbing.
You get an entire villa with such a small amount of money.

We only stayed for a night but highly recommend the property for longer stay as its ideally located to visit Split and surroundings.

The front door has two panels either side which could do with a little TLC. More towels should be provided depending on length of stay.
The location was great easy to get to the bus station and into the old town. It was quiet most of the time. As we had the ground floor studio the table for next door was quite close to ours but the occupants were quiet so it wasn’t a problem. The bed was comfortable, great there was a kettle, toaster and decent sized fridge. The air conditioning unit was great.

Great location. A short walk from Diocletian's palace. Self contained apartment in quiet neighbourhood. Helpful owners. Food shops nearby.

Lovely duplex spread over 2 floors- clean, well kept and had all the amenities youll need (brill wifi also). Good amount of space and set back from the street. Great communication from the owner, Sent a video of how to find it etc. Lovely and clean too, great shower which is always a bonus and only 10 min walk right into the centre of Split! Thank you again!

Internet dropped down a couple of times. I used my mobile phone in the meantime but it was fixed quickly once I reported the issue. It dropped a bit following day too. Just a constructive feedback - I asked if I could check in a bit sooner, or leave my luggage at least. I couldn't get accommodated. It was pretty chilly outside and I was feeling unwell so dragging my luggage around wasn't very pleasant. These four hours seem to have lasted forever. For us travellers, especially if we travel for 24 hours on a plane this means a lot. It's give and take.
It was clean. Great location, near Bachvice beach, straight down. I liked kitchen, too. Easy to find. Communication from the hosts was good. I was on ground floor.

The stairs are very steep and narrow, which would be difficult for people with mobility issues. The shower is quite small, which was a bit tricky for a fat guy like me.
Beautiful apartment, everything in top working order and lovingly decorated. You can walk to Diocletian's Palace in 5 minutes. Very good communication from the owner.

One bedside lamp not working, and both of them plugged in the only outlets near bed, so no extra for charging phone. The apartment could use some small light or warm lightbulbs, but that’s a personal preference. Also some toiletries would be nice, like a shower gel.
Cute, clean apartment, has everything you need for a few nights, walking distance from the city center, convenient store and public parking nearby. Amazing price.

The house was little cold,I wrote to the host,she advised to put on the AC ,I did but the room was still slightly cold
