We liked everything. The host was so friendly, she recommended us places to eat and beaches to visit. We did and she was so right. Both restaurants were amazing and the beaches as well. The location is perfect, 5 mins walk from the center. Please take into account you have stairs to climb back, but for us was not a problem at all. The view from our room was perfect, each morning I stayed on the balcony 20 minutes to admire the city. See the pictures. The best.

I stayed at Novak Guesthouse for 3 nights and my experience was excellent. The room was very clean, spacious, and well-equipped with air‑conditioning, mini‑fridge, and tea/coffee facilities. The highlight was the balcony view overlooking the town and harbor. Host Nadja was warm, friendly, and offered great local recommendations while even lending beach towels and a Nespresso machine. The guesthouse is in a peaceful neighborhood about a 5–10 minute walk from restaurants and the ferry port, making it convenient but still tranquil. Overall, fantastic value and I would definitely return

We had an amazing stay at Nadia’s apartment! The place was exceptionally clean, spacious, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Beach towels were thoughtfully provided, and the view from the balcony was absolutely lovely. Nadia herself was brilliant — warm, helpful, and truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. She really made all the difference. Highly recommend!

Quiet and comfortable room overlooking the town of Hvar. Short downhill walk to restaurants and beaches. Nadjia was a kind and caring host. Provided beach towels were appreciated!

A lovely place to stay in Hvar. The accommodation is very close to the center of Hvar — you can easily walk there. It’s ideally located since you’re near both the city center and the beach, but in a calmer, quieter area. Natjia, the owner, couldn’t be sweeter. She was always available, so kind, and even gave us delicious tomatoes from her garden. She even washed our clothes for us! The rooms were tidy and clean. A great option if you’re looking for a peaceful stay close to everything.

The accommodation was brilliant. Huge room and bathroom with a lovely balcony that we sat on every evening enjoying the view. Room was very clean and had everything you needed. A fridge to store your drinks, air conditioning, steamer for your clothes and beach towels. The host was amazing and went through everything to do on the island and recommended the best beaches to visit. Location was perfect overlooking the town. It is a 10min walk from the town up a small hill but in a brilliant location as it is very close to the harbour, Fort and hula hula beach club. I can't recommend this apartment enough. The perfect place to stay on your trip to Hvar.

The only thing that may be difficult for some people is the trek from the harbor to its location cause you have to go uphill/stairs depending with path you take and if you have a lot of luggage and it’s hot, it’s a rough time. In that case I would recommend getting a taxi!

Beautiful view, super nice host, room with all the basic necessities! Also is quieter than if you stay down below closer to the water cause that’s where all the people are going out late, so it was great for someone who needs a full night of sleep 🙂

The air condition was a bit loud.

I loved staying at Novak Guesthouse. The location is just great and it's only a short walk to the centre. The actual bedroom was very spacious and the small kitchen had everything you need. Everything was super clean. Not to forget the super friendly owner. Follow the restaurant tips - I ate in two restaurants that were recommended and they were both fantastic!

If you are going to Hvar and want something close to the city center and the beaches I can really recommend Guesthouse Novak. The owners are super friendly and helpful, clean and nice rooms, spacious beds, balconies with beautiful views.

Not a major concern at all as everything else was perfect, but the wifi did disconnect a few times and took a few tries to reconnect (when it was connected it worked well)
