Nice view, quiet, helpfull host

The wifi was not great.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful place. The apartment we stayed in was perfect, with a balcony with an amazing view. The host is very welcoming and helpful.

Very clean, views from the balcony were amazing. The host was really friendly and helpful, we will definitely return.

Amazing view!

Everything is great. The kitchen has everything you need. Quiet area. Friendly hostess. Good wifi. Close to the center. Excellent view from the window. Keep in mind that the hostess takes a deposit of 100 euros. There were no problems, but for someone it may be an important point.

We loved the view from the balcony. The 180+ steps to reach the apartment are worthwhile but you need to be pretty fit. Fortunately, we are.

The daughter was helpful and friendly - more so than the hostess. We were required to pay a 100 euro deposit that was not highlighted at the time of booking. This was to cover any damage/breakages. The apartment was relatively basic and not as comfortable as the other eight apartments we stayed in during our stay in Croatia and Montenegro.

Amazing view but don’t expect more. 1 bedroom flat, very basic, no charm, poorly equipped, no microwave, no toaster, no washing machine, no small kitchen knives. Actually the owner expects customers to eat out. But good shower pressure, dishwasher. The stairs are a challenge with heavy luggage or not good physical condition. It would be useful to indicate it clearly in the description and recommend taxi from ferry (20€). Otherwise not too bad, 5-10mn from the old town. Very close to the entrance to the fortress.

Very rude behaviour of the owner’s daughter. We were shocked! They complained about us making too much noise the next day, instead of telling us on the spot. Actually the house has poor soundproof. There was also a dog barking a lot which was annoying even if we didn’t complain. Unclear house rules. We were told we should have asked permission to have 2 friends for dinner. But this was mentioned nowhere and of course if it had been, we would have asked. The second time our friends came for dinner, we were given permission until 9 pm while curfew on booking says 11pm. Sofa bed was broken and couldn’t be pulled. Globally we didn’t feel the host welcome customers, but rather allows them to stay in the house as a favour and expects them to be invisible.

Everyone mentions the stairs, but they are not a big deal at all!! Especially compared to Dubrovnik. The balcony and view are amazing, the host is kind and accommodating, the apartment is spacious and comfortable. It rained one day and we had no problem cooking a full meal in the kitchen with all their supplies. We were less than 10 minutes from everything in the center of Hvar. Note there is a €100 security deposit to be paid in cash upon arrival.

You needed to be reasonably fit in order to walk the steps back. Taxi was 20 euros so rather expensive.

The view is unbeatable, like, it's actually ridiculous. The best view of Hvar town you can get! The apartment itself is great too - well air-conditioned, very close to restaurants, etc.

Really really lovely stay in Hvar - probably our favourite accommodation throughout our 10 nights stay in Croatia. There are a lot of steps to get to the property, but there are a lot of steps in Hvar generally so there will be steps regardless of where you stay! The room is a great size, with lots of amenities such as bowls, plates, kettle, fridge, washing up bowl etc which was really handy and the balcony and view is incredible - best view of Hvar. Breakfast there every morning was a treat. AC was great and really kept us cool in the heat. Hosts were also fantastic and really made us feel special and welcome and gave us advise about cycling routes etc. Fab stay - thank you!

Surprise deposit of 100€ cash.

the apartment is quite big and features a stunning view on the whole city of Hvar. Balcony is big with the possibility to have meals directly seeing all the city. Kitchen was quite equipped (maybe the only missing object is a coffee machine). A/C positioned in the main room and in the bedroom. Be just aware you will have to do a lot of stairs from the port to arrive to the apartment (if you don't have a car-parking available in front of the apartment)

- Main bed is a sofa bed not so comfortable with a topper bigger than the bed itself - Have found bugs in the apartment during the nights (as it seems bugs are quite frequent in the other apartments) - Not possible to leave luggages before check-in/after check-out - required to leave a 100€ deposit for possible damages. Not a problem but i would have liked to know it some days before the check in (or on booking.com during the reservation)

Amazing stay - our best stay in Croatia and the best place to stay in Hvar! To start - the view from the balcony was amazing - we couldn’t believe it! The best view in Hvar. Super location, quite a few steps to walk up but 100% expected in Hvar. Our host Jagoda was fantastic. So friendly and kind with super recommendations! The room was spotless, cosy, comfortable and homely with brilliant facilities. We couldn’t have asked for more! Could not fault this property. Would highly recommend!
