Nothing, except tour bus company refused to pick us up at the door, and instead of just pointing out where to pick us up, gave me a whole spiel on the politics of the place. Nothing to do with the accommodation.

She was waiting for me as I walked up the hill. Introduced us to the markets and the way to town. There was air-conditioning. Place was away from Old Town and quiet.

Amazing location and host. The accommodation had everything we could need and more. The host is very generous with his time, help and advice. The location is perfect, as is the beautiful terrace. I will definitely recommend to friends and family and hope to return myself someday!

The apartment is in a prime location just a few hundred yards from the city gates. The host has a real passion for his city and is full of useful recommendations and advice for things to do in the area. Sitting on the shared veranda with a drink in the early evening was a lovely experience.

So close to the main gate to the old city, just 2 minutes walk. Spectacular views from the front patio area. Loved the entrance way. Owners were lovely and very helpful.

The owners are responsive and very welcoming:) To us that sets the tone of your experience. Close to Banj beach (maybe 3-4 minute walk) which we enjoyed and 10 minute walk to the old town. We had everything we needed in the apartment plus terrace has beautiful views of the Adriatic sea.

Zero faults with this property.

From the day I booked the commutation was very professional. We were meet at our meeting point and taken directly to our apartment, and were assisted with our baggage. The location is excellent, walking distance to beach & Old Town. Property is very well maintained, and facilities inside our very clean. Would stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Nothing, it was exceptional

Steve met us and helped with luggage. Gave us refreshments and showed us some of the best things/places on a map of Dubrovnik. Great location outside city walls, and elevated so you get a great view of the city. We loved the huge terrace which we shared with 1 other apartment. It was very clean and our towels were replaced regularly. Walk into the city in around 6 mins with beautiful views along the way. Honestly wouldn’t stay anywhere else as a couple. Lots of the city apartments were in very narrow streets (well yes it’s Dubrovnik!) but as a result there would be no view and so many steps. I was really happy with our choice. We had some great chats with Steve who lived downstairs. We talked about the city its history, the war and so many other things. It was lovely to get to know lots more about the city from a local person. Thanks for sharing your experience Steve, we had a great holiday!

It was a bit smaller than we expected.

Considering that from the OLD CITY, everything is uphill…….we loved our location. We loved our patio overlooking the beach, boats and waterfront. Our hosts were very kind and considerate.

Just maybe a dustpan and brush but that’s it. Everything else was provided. Had a fab stay!

Stijepo was a gracious host and provided so much information of the area. He is a very proud Dubrovnican and it shows as he lights up telling us about his beautiful city. The accommodation could not be better. The towels are changed every other day which was a lovely touch. There is so much in the apartment and there are 3 markets close by for the essentials. The view from the patio at the balcony is like a postcard. You have to see it to believe it’s real. Only 5 min walk to Ploce gate on the flat. Will definitely return.

Only because I walked so much and climbed so many stairs, I found the one step up to the bedroom a bother because my legs were spent.

The view sold me on it but it had everything I needed for a lovely break.
