It was Saturday night and the club across the road was pumping up the music. If I was over there it would have been fun. However I was trying to sleep.

Location and entrance is very difficult to find since there are no signs. The Riva Rooms are in a block of apartments in the fouth floor, no sign on the outside. Yous are given two codes to enter the building and the hotel area. Breakfast is minimal basics, just tea, coffee, cereals, bananas, spreads and bread. Shop bought croissants in the pack.

The party noise/loud music from below till after 2am. The building entrance hall is a bit rundown. The breakfast was way below expectation.

The host was super friendly, and the location is very conveniently situated for onward travel on busses, trains, and ferries. A big plus is the lift, as its in the 3rd floor, and no need to carry luggage up stairs as in other similar rooms.

No glass or cup in the room. Breakfast - I was very disappointed at the complete lack of savoury dishes: no ham, bacon, salami etc. or eggs ... Regardless of the many previous such comments the owner apparently has no intention to improve the breakfast selection of dishes.

The hotel is right at the seaside in the centre of Rijeka. It is very neat and orderly. The host was friendly. The room was spacious enough and had air conditioning. The room as well as the bathroom were very clean. View of the sea.

The person who was our hostess asked me if my bf was my boyfriend or my client, he asked me something so rude like that cause I'm a latin girl only 😡. It was a very uncomfortable and annoying moment for me.

Other guests wrote some negative experiences (breakfast supply, old building, loud music in the evening until midnight, etc.) these are unfortunately true. Breakfast is only "packed food": banana, bread-butter-jam-honey-liver pate-Nutella, croissant, yogurt, milk, 4 types of muesli, and infinite (from machine) coffee/chocolate milk, but these were O.K.

The staff was excellence, I arrived too early, nobody was there, and he came earlier and I could occupy the room - thanks! The location is excellent, it is located next to the Korzo, which is the "fashion (walking) street" of Rijeka. Other accommodations are more expensive in this location. Elevator exists in the building and works well.

Parking is an expense and trying ordeal. 3 choices to park on streets near by with 2 different per hour charge. BEST OPTIONIS FREE if you can find one. Luckily we did.

Location was close to attractions and Harbor which was a relaxing change,\. Great bakeries and local bars nearby.

That the government does not maintain, this magnificent old building.

The property is in a very central location and is proof of the fact you don't judge a book by its cover. The apartment is located in a period building owned by the government and they have brought part of the building and built their apartments with water views. When you enter the building you might be shocked as Government upkeep of the entrance is not good. However Once you get to the level where the apartments are located, they are modern with a security entrance, the rooms are a good size, they are clean and the owner is helpful. They also provide a good breakfast. In my opinion the apartments are value for money.

The entrance of the building was terrible, filthy and the elevator was smelling urine. Under the building is located a bar and if you choose to spend the weekend there you can hear the dj for free 😜. The room was ok but the whole experience it's a no from me.
