Sofa bed was not comfortable, some issues with insects (grasshoppers and some other large bug)

Don't think we got the room we booked. Either way our room wasn't very clean and very basic with nothing such as soap in shower or to wash your hands at the sink and old towels. Maybe this was all mentioned when booking so it could be our fault. Overall, the location made up for it!

Just the best views out across the valley from the balcony and bedroom windows, great apartment, comfy bed, useful air conditioning on hot nights. Super friendly and very helpful hosts. Just to note that there is no freezer compartment in the fridge and you will be aware of road noise, but it is not intrusive. We loved our stay at Bella Vista and Motovun

Struggling to think of anything... Sofa was a bit hard for me. The local shop closes before arrival time, so it's useful to know to collect basics at the shop at bottom of the hill. Peta kindly took me shopping. Thanks Petra.

The apartment is near the top of the town so being collected with the luggage and taken there was a must. The balcony was shaded at the best times and the view was amazing, including the acrobatic swallows! Kitchen well equipped. Bed firm but very comfy. Easy to get to many restaurants nearby. Petra was a star.

Couldn't get the camera to recognize my license plate, so I couldn't drive thru the gate until someone else went through. Very frustrating. BUT not frustrating enough to change my rating from highly recommend!!!

Perfect location, perfect hosts, fantastic 180 degree view of the valley, steps from the entrance to the old city, fabulous restaurant directly across the one lane cobblestone road, and another fabulous restaurant at the bottom of the mountain (7minutes)

The wifi did not work in the Bella Vista apartment which is the apartment with the balcony. You had to go out into the hallway to get a signal which is frustrating. Just a suggestion but perhaps the router needs to be moved. Some of the furniture is old and could be improved.

The location can not be beat. Just steps away from the Konoba Mondo restaurant, one of the best restaurants I have ever been to and also very close to the gate that leads into the old walled town. Very clean apartment , thank you !

The basement apartment smelt musty, like damp, but this cleared somewhat after running the aircon with the door open and later on the hosts installed a dehumidifier which made a difference. A trade-off for being able to stay in such a special location in an old hilltop village and the views right outside the apartment definitely made it worthwhile.

The helpfulness of the hosts. The views from the outside terrace. The airconditioner as it was very hot. Comfortable beds. The truffle excursion and dining experience run by the hosts. And a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine for my birthday!

Nothing bad to report about the property.

The property has a view that cannot be beaten and the hosts are amazing! They helped us to the best of their ability to coordinate anything we needed - rides, tours, etc. The apartment has character and provided us with a perfect home away from home.

We’re upgraded to a bigger apartment facing the river. Room is large and clear in great location. Mirjana, the host, was excellent, she made sure we had a wonderful time in Motovun and the Truffle Tour runs by her Truffle Company. We also dined in Konoba Mondo across the road from Bella Vista. Good food, exceptional service, coffee from the house.

The apartment was very outdated and in need of a refurb. We had a semi-basement room so certainly didn't live up to its name of Bella Vista!

If you travel with a car, it becomes complicated. When I was there, the owner of apartment wasn‘t there. In check-out you need to go to her house by yourself, you need to drive ca. 5 mins. Hot and cold water system does not work, really trouble to take shower.

The apartment is centrally located and there are good restaurants next to it.
