Reviews of Apartments Kokolo 3 stars

The apartment was in the best location, not too noisey. The owners take huge pride in the cleanliness of the place. The washing machine was handy to have to wash my dirty clothes, and the owners were happy to gift me some laundry detergent.

There were no facilities at all. While there was a fridge, there was no kitchen, however. It looked like the owners were in the process of adding a kitchen in. I stress that it did not bother me at all having no kitchen, yet it may bother other guests.

Great place: location is excellent, near the main road for supermarkets/bakeries but tucked away so it's quiet, also in the middle of the old town and really near all the restaurants, bars, and 5-7 minutes to the shore. The apartment was very functional, had everything we needed, including crucially a good AC and a laundry machine, and good wifi. The communication with the hosts was very good. Highly recommended place!

Closeness to the grocery stores, walking distance to the Riva and to the beach.

This place is completely different that the pictures. I have been to Sibenik so many times and my usual place in the old town was booked so I chose this based on the pics. What disappointment. We end up with the room with the two twin size beds (not a single photo of it), above the konoba, so super noisy all day and super dark place (dont tell me it is an old town thing cause I have spent lots of time in the Old Town of Sibenik, Dubrovnik, Korcula- places have natural lights). The Host was horrible- started with complaining how difficult is to clean and her family problems (I am a paying tourist and not your phycologist) and then she did not have any change available to give me (she requested to be paid in cash, no credit cards) so I offered her some part in Euros and some part in local currency Kunas. OMG, this woman can not do 2nd grade math. In the end, she told me she was shorten 50lipas (1/2 Kuna= 0.25 Euros). I offered her One Kuna and she is refused like it is my fault. Lady, get the change ready, work on your math skills. While she was walking out of the apartment; she asked me when will be leaving, I said 10 am, what is check out time listen on the Booing, She freaking rolled eyes at me and said: Ok, I have to clean in case we get new guests. If you need more time to clean, change then check out time on the Booking (we left before 9am- the apartment is not the place to hang out-:)) Lack of details everywhere: no kitchen towel, only one towel per person (no face and body towels). Sibenik's guides only in French and Chinese (the rest of the world, not welcome???), the light in the living room was out (she saw it and did not offer to change the light bulb), the fridge was dirty, the shower has mold and shower curtain is disaster. The front door of the house impossible to close, bathroom door is so noisy. Everywhere else the host offers you a local product as a welcome gift, not here...... Overall, the worst stay I had in Croatia.

Great location

Expensive public parking; Our apartments was on ground floor so very noisy and extremely thin walls. Room looked so bright in the picture - but It was dark - even at day you must keep light up. No shower gel in the bathroom, very soft matress, woke up with a back pain. Photos do not reflect reality, it was not as cozy as it looks in the pictures
