Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The hotel is run by a lovely family — extremely friendly and kind. They gave us great recommendations. The location is absolutely perfect — the best possible spot in town. Breakfast was amazing! We had no issues with the internet at all (despite what some reviews had mentioned). Also, there’s an ATM very close by, so getting cash was easy. We would definitely recommend this place 100%!

The room wasn’t very bright because the window was a bit small and in front of a wall.
We liked the localisation of the guest house, it was so convenient and close to the center. The staff was amazing, very helpful and warm. They helped us to book a taxi and when we wanted to eat at the evening. The room was clean and confortable.

There is slow or no internet, but we understand why - old massive building. Beibg without internet is great and pushes us to be humans again 🙃

The hosts are one the most welcoming people we had met in our travels. Everything was clean and the breakfast exceeded our expectations. This is the only place in Cres that we will be staying from now on! We loved it! Highly recommend

not really a problem but the bed was hard for me. what we missed for a 4 star hotel was a water kettle. tea/coffee cups in the room . you couldn’t make a drink you had to go out to the town to buy one so not even a drink before going to bed . no welcomes bottle of water or sweets in the room. We know it is the end of the season but no croissants or rolls for breakfast only thick sliced bread . one choice of cheese & only ham no other meat choice , but lots & lots of fresh fruit. couldn’t leave the window open at night as you heard people talking / walking in the street . no where to dry swim wear & towels after aday on the beach .
it was very easy to find . very welcoming friendly staff. clean comfortable room.. nice outside area for breakfast. very close to the center & parking . Cres was a suprise a lovely village very clean .

Everything was good
The rooms were extremely clean, fresh and renovated and the manager were super nice and friendly to us (even helped us with some medicines for my sick boyfriend). The surrounding area was also very lively at night, perfect for some summer vibes

Having card facilities; don't like paying in cash because I don't want to carry it around. A lift would be great! On my second and final day the cleaner didn't leave any shower gel.
Breakfast was good - loved the courtyard. Staff were friendly and multilingual. Location was nicely tucked away but very close to the harbour and also the bus stop.

Varied source of food, lots of fruit. Good coffee! The hotel is located in a quiet street just a few steps from the centre. There is also a large parking lot nearby (€7/day).

There is no parking, even tho they marked that they have it, cleaning lady entering the room without asking, bad locking system etc.

Caution: Parking is a bit inconvenient (either expensive or quite a walk away). In order to use the washing machine you need to book ahead and bring some time. Only payment by cash.

The carpet in our room looked really dirty - I'm sure, it was cleaned but there were stains everywhere. The furniture in the rooms and the reception doesn't really look like they are high quality. Everything is okay but on the pictures it looks a lot nicer than in real life.
Staff is really great, very helpful. The terrace where breakfast is served is very nice and the location is perfect! Breakfast is also really delicious.
