The couple who hosted us were so lovely! They were friendly and welcoming and although they spoke little English they both had such warm smiles! The lady always had clean towels for us and even changed the bedding! She also offered us freshly made cake which was so delicious! The location was in a nice spot about a 20 minute walk from the old town!

Guest house Raguz had everything we needed for our short stay in Dubrovnik. It was a lovely homey place to stay, Ivan and his wife were very welcoming. They had a beautiful garden terrace full of plants where we sat with a cup of tea. It was a 15 minute walk to the old town and it was easy to park our car on the street for free. Some people mentioned issues with booking via direct booker but we had no problems there.

The Direct Booker (not the owners) send me the same automatic message over and over again without answering me directly. Until we arrived that caused stress, because I didn't know if everything was coming across. When we arrived the owners were very nice though. Also, the wifi was bad.

The place was really clean. The bed was nice and big and the shower was nice. Outside was a beautiful terrace full of flowers, which the owners looked after really well. The place was just a 20 minute walk to the old town and the area was nice and quiet.

One thing to note is that you will need to pay in cash on arrival. Not too much of an issue but it would have been good to know beforehand.

Guest House Raguz is run by an absolutely lovely couple - Ivan and his wife (I'm not sure of her name). They did not speak much English but were really welcoming, friendly and take such great care of their beautiful garden which surrounded the property. There is a great terrace to sit on and admire the abundance of gorgeous flowers and plants! The room was clean, comfortable and cosy. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the property into the old town of Dubrovnik. It feels like a much less touristy area and more where the locals live. And I would recommend a visit to a bar/cafe around the corner called Roxy's.

Guest House Raguz was very easy to find, close to the bus stop and only 10 minutes' walk from the beautiful Old Town in Dubrovnik. The owners of the property live right there so it was easy to arrive and get the keys to our room. The kind owner gave us a nice cold beer each as a welcome gesture which was very much appreciated on a very hot day. The room was small but clean and it had a fridge and a kettle. The day we were leaving the lady owner was very kind to let us leave our luggage in her apartment until we needed it. Overall, we recommend staying here.

The room and environment is not spacious but clean, peaceful and comfortable. They only accept cash.

This location is quiet and an ideal place to relax. It’s 5 minutes walk to Pera Cingrije bus stop & 10 minutes walk to Grawe Bus stop. U could book a shuttle bus online & leave from Grawe Bus stop to airport. The shuttle bus timetable is for the main bus station, so it reaches Grawe Bus stop about 10-15 mins later. To play safe, better be on time at Grawe bus stop. The old couples take care of the property. They are friendly and helpful. It’s only 2 levels down from the main road. The staircases are bearable. You get a panoramic mountain view at the open air dining area.

In the first room that i have stayed i didn’t have good internet but then they changed me to another and everything whats ok. The other thing is that i couldn’t pay by card.

If using public transportation, walk uphill on narrow streets with little or no room for walkers and at the property, there are stairs (35). Can be difficult if elderly or if temperature is hot.

Lovely shared terrace with blooming flowers all around and beautiful view. Room had A/C, hot water, and refrigerator. Host couple (Ivan and wife) were very charming and nice.

The property/rooms were quiet (away from traffic) with a fantastic view over the valley. We loved the fact that we could sit outside in their lovey terraced garden for morning coffee or to enjoy the sunsets. The bed was very comfortable. The hosts were very hospitable and obvious wanted our stay to be a pleasant one.

The hotel is about 1km from the old city, which is fine for me but if you're not great at walking uphill just be aware. The way back from old town is slightly uphill.

Beautiful views from the terrace, located approximately 20 minutes walk from the old town. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming, even giving us some homemade pancakes on our last morning! The room was simple but comfortable, and considering its location near a beach and Dubrovnik old town, it was incredible value for money.

There were ants in my room and lots of stairs down to the property which is difficult with my ridiculously huge bag. However hosts helped me with both of these things quickly and in a lovely way.

I loved the room, the outside space, both undercover where the fridge is and up on the seated area. It was a comfortable, clean room and the hosts are really lovely. The area is great too, not too far from Old Town. Beautiful garden and view too.

The room and bathroom were a bit small, although the facilities were clean. We also didn't realise the payment was in cash, despite providing a card when booking through Booking.com, so needed to withdraw from the ATM and get the correct change.

Ivan and his wife were wonderful hosts, and we enjoyed staying in their beautiful apartment in Dubrovnik. The location is great and easily walkable from Dubrovnik old town (about 20 min). They have a large outdoor terrace with amazing sunrise and sunset views. Especially grateful for the free parking on the road outside the apartment and the easy check-in instructions.
