CroatiaI found it weird that there weren't any eggs at the breakfast buffet, you had to order them a la carte. Selection of deserts was limited - I was expecting a bit more for a 5 star hotel. But, you can get amazing things in a la carte breakfast so, can't really say this was bad 😅 Also, was weirded out that someone else put a charge from the beach to our room, weird they are not checking so, maybe would be good to include some controls, but, they accepted it wasn't us so they removed it from the bill. The nerve on some people who do that 😳 it it is not the hotel's fault, they managed it professionally.
Staff is amazing, all of them, from cleaning lady, to the staff at the restaurant and all around the hotel. Breakfast was great, the waiters just the most professional ones, I was amazed! Pool was very nice, car, baggage: No trouble at all, just perfect. Everything was beautiful, loved it!

NetherlandsIt's not a major issue, but it's frustrating that many guests reserve pool loungers by leaving their towels on them early in the morning. The staff can only remove the towels if no one returns within two hours.
We stayed at Monte Mulini for the second time, and once again, it was a perfect vacation. The staff make you feel truly welcome, everyone is helpful and friendly, and the service is excellent. The pools are great, and the hotel beach is very nice as well. The center of Rovinj is nearby, making it ideal for dining out and enjoying cozy evenings.

Everything! Location next to beautiful pebbly beach and 15 mins walk to stunning Rovinj with so many waterside restaurants. Huge rooms with all possible comforts. Excellent service everywhere. Fabulous breakfast until 12 noon with tables on the terrace overlooking the sea. Gorgeous pools with loungers (best to put your towel out early but it never feels busy and it’s all so peaceful). Valet parking included. Absolutely loved this hotel.

United KingdomGym is shared with the next door hotel and accessed through the Wellness centre. All good but the temperature of the gym, admittedly for fairly intense cardio, was far too high. Fairly basic equipment but managed to adapt. We found the breakfast options adequate but after reading reviews we expected more choice - accept it is all subjective.
Superb pool area. Suites were basically two rooms interconnected with one repurposed as a lounge - worked perfectly. Staff were friendly, professional and attentive.

United StatesPeople should know that the decor is very contemporary (though not to my taste). It is not a “typical old European hotel” with beautiful classic features. This came as a shock to me initially. Also, it is located a good 20-minute walk to the old town of Rovinj, which is a bit far if you want to go more than once per day.
Excellent staff. Very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast.
