How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Booked this apartment (Hidden Garden 2) as it showed as having a washing machine…have been travelling for a week and hence needed to wash some clothes. However the apartment does NOT have a washing machine - checking with the owner ‘only Hidden Garden 2 has a washing machine’…quite annoyed and had to pay for a laundry service. 2 short flights of circular stairs to the front door - not great if any mobility issues.
Location was fabulous, very calm environment in the centre of the city

The best host you can have in Dalmatia! This beautiful couple is a 3rd generation of hosts, take a time to talk and experience the wonderful Dalmatian culture through them. Just loved the place but most of all the openness, the joy of life they have and sharing of their culture.

All was great. Thanks to the hostess, very friendly, gave lots of advises. The whole house is so clean and has a heritage.
Thank you! Great stay! The view is stunning! Very nice cozy and big apartment with beautiful balcony, fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom. Beaches close to the place as well as old town. Excellent!! Want to come back.

Spacious apartment, very clean and well equipped. Covered private parking right by the apartment. 5 min walk to trogir old town or beach. Owner was very helpful and responsive. Generally quiet area- some plane noise as close to the airport, but anyone from a medium sized town or city wouldn’t even notice. Didn’t bother us one bit. Would certainly atay here again if returning to the area

The host was amazing! Very kind, caring and just great! Positive, friendly, professional and always there. We enjoyed our stay on 100%, it was a pleasure to be here. The host is a great example for other hosts, especially local. Suggested where to go and what to see. Super local host, who loves and is passionate about her country. A gem of a property and a very well appointed apartment. Huge terrace and common area, olive trees and hammock, spectacular view over the harbor. Highly recommended. Soundproof and 5min walk from old town. Ideal for exploring the area.

Amazing location! Just a 3 minutes walk from the city centre. Gratis and spacious parking included even for big SUVs no problem. That is a very big plus! The family who runs this place is very welcoming and friendly. I was offered a beer upon arrival and sat down with the owner. The rooms are basic but very clean! Everything you need is there. Perfect for a visit in Trogir on a budget 👌

I am very happy to have chosen Trogir for the night. A town of amazing beauty. Very comfortable accommodation. Near cafes, shops, marina. Friendly hostess, clean rooms.

Spacious room. Really clean and attractive. Comfy bed. Lovely private patio outside with drying line for my wet swim stuff. Host was so considerate and friendly. She even allowed us to use her outdoor kitchen, with view of the old city, to make our breakfast! Convenient location near town, walking distance. Lots of free parking. Easy first floor access.

We could not fault the accommodation. Perfect location, awesome view from our balcony and very friendly and helpful hosts. Enjoyed our stay so much that we stayed an extra night. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

This accommodation exceeded expectations. We had a nice garden and access to a super nice outdoor kitchen. The hosts were super kind and made sure we were happy and had everything we needed for our stay. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. It was only a short walk to the old town. Unfortunately we only stayed there one night but we will definitely come back to this accommodation if we come back to Trogir. I am super satisfied.

It’s simple place in a good vibe. Host are very friendly. Good place to park your car. I just don’t like the shower without glasses.
