How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Damir was super nice and super helpful. It’s in the middle of the city, but the windows were really nicely made so not a problem to sleep. Great location

If you are looking for a quiet location, pick another place. It is on a busy pedestrian street with stores and restaurants. We kept the windows closed, so it didn't bother us.
The location was perfect for us for a one-night stay in Korcula. It was walking distance from the ferry, with no stairs (other than the ones at the building entrance). It was centrally located to all the places we wanted to see. The AC and the TV were working. The small bathroom had all the amenities we needed. The owner greeted us when we arrived. Even though he didn't speak much English, we communicated fine. He lives in the apartment next to the rental. He kept our luggage after we checked out, as our ferry was later in the day.

Perfect location, minutes away from the port. Had everything we needed for a short stay beach towels, hairdryer, shampoo and body wash. The kitchen looks brand new and the pots/ pans were new too. There are shutters on the outside so noise wasn’t an issue. Whilst the host doesn’t speak English fluently he was very kind and welcoming and was able to explain everything about the apartment. He even let us check in early when our boat arrived from Dubrovnik, plus he also looked after our luggage after check out when we were taking an evening boat to Hvar. Overall I would recommend this studio apartment when visiting Korcula.

Very good location, near the city center, water taxis, and the ferry. The apartment has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Also, the host is very friendly and has good recommendations for places to eat and things to visit.

Everything about the property was amazing. Lovely cozy studio apartment in the centre of Korcula town. 2 minutes from ferry port and lots of lovely restaurants and cafe bars. Really comfy bed, separate small kitchen area everything you need for a stay in Korcula. Host Damir so friendly and helpful and always available should you need anything. Highly recommend apartments Teddy

This is a terrific studio apartment within easy walking distance to everything. It is cozy, clean and comfortable. It was well stocked, including a great kitchenette and beach towels. The owner was very kind and extremely responsive. It was the perfect home base for exploring the island.

Modern and fresh apartment close to ferry port and everything of interest. Maintenance and cleaning were top notch. Nothing fancy, but ticks all the boxes.

I like live music so I was okay with the acoustic trio right under my window until midnight. Guitar, mandolin and acordian playing traditional tunes. You may want earplugs.
Fantastic location. Clean and comfortable. Very nice host. I only stayed one night but I would like to return for a week .

Lovely new room. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Very central and near the tourist office. Host allowed us leave our luggage until time to catch our ferry. It is in the town and can be a bit noisy but quietened down around midnight which was fine by us.

Our host was warm and welcoming and everything was presented beautifully. The room are in a great location to explore the old town of Korcula.

maybe putting dark curtains which would make the room darker for sleeping but otherwise its great

The property is centrally located very close to the Port, yet it is also very quiet. The host Damir is lovely and the facilities great value for money. The apartment is nicely presented and well equipped. The bed is very comfortable!!
