Very old facilities. Bed was not comfortable. Very small room. They call it an appartment, but there were no facilities. Small bath rooms. No breakfast nor possibility to prepare one yourself. Price was rather high compared to service received.

Good location, however noisy due to the main road.

The bathroom had mould everywhere in the shower recess. The garden, grounds and grass were very unkept and looked like no one cared for the property. The property could present very well with some attention to cleaning and garden. For a 3 star accommodation, it should still be clean and have maintained property.

The location and parking are excellent. The bedroom was clean. Mr Semić was very helpful and obliging.

Noisy road, hard to drive out, room lacks basic facilities even for budget type. Aircon and fridge is fixed to temperature that does not cool enough so hot night, fridge full of ice, unable to change. Broken towel rail and broken towel hook, mattress bumpy and dirty, not even spool with the tiny coffee cups. Bare minimum offered

- Host was unfriendly and was rude. They even violated the personal data protection. - There was nobody at the check-in time, when they said they would be. - There were problems with the bathroom that wasn't very functional and it was at times impossible to take a shower.

We reserved room for 3 people and there was linen only for 2. I messaged and called the owner about the problem, but I got no reply and no help from him. Our king sized was extremely uncomfortable, I'm guessing the mattress is old. In addition, everything in the room was old and kind of falling apart. Not worth 90 euros per night for sure!

What a gross place! Avoid! The time has stopped here over 30 years ago - given 3 stars in the 90's - probably not inspected ever since. The airconditioner is on its last leg- not working almost at all. The dirty bathroom, with the walls and ceilling covered in mould, and the socket hanging off the walls. The balcony window wouldn't close thus the nouse of the main, busy road present all the time. The towels and the bedshit have had a long history of drama. Terrible state. There was only one socket in a room to plug the devices. If you have two mobiles to charge, do it in your car. Nice to be provided with a kettle and two cups but having two teaspoons to go with it would be a luxury! A shared fridge for numerous guests in the hall. Simply, the worst booking choice during our 3 weeks stay in Croatia. And, we are not the fussy ones.

The centre of Opatija is about 20 minutes walk from this place.

Kind host, no problems with check in or check out, everything was clean and nice. Beach is close enough and the view from the balcony is nice. Price is really good for what you get.

The aircon was broken. Would have liked to be informed of this prior to arrival as we would have booked somewhere else. We were provided with a fan, but found it ineffective & noisy. I hardly slept all night as the apartment was too hot. Owner said to try fan & if not good, he would give us another apartment. Why were we not given another apartment in the first place? Also, by the time we realised the fan was useless it was the middle of the night. Too late! It would be good to provide soap in the bathroom. I like to wash my hands but had to unpack first to get my soap. It would be good to supply dish cloth, tea towels & dish detergent for the kitchenette. The shower is superficially cleaned. There are areas of mold in crevices. Our balcony was very close & on the same level as the road. Lack of privacy unless we shut the shutters, which made the apartment dark, as it's the only window. Sheer curtains in the middle of the apartment were inconvenient. The lamps on either side of the bed were useless. One has no power point to plug it into & the other has, but the power point doesn't work!

Unfortunately we were underwhelmed with everything, especially as we typically find accommodation in Croatia tends to be super clean always, and never anticipated this. First room given had smoke smell, so host kindly gave us another- albeit smaller room without kitchen. We only came to sleep from 8.30 pm and left around 8 am. We didn’t use shower as there was hair in the drain and small hair pieces. Shower curtain was filthy dirty, yellow. Toilet had ‘sanitized’ label on it, but was evidently not cleaned as again there was hair and yellow pieces of something we could not identify at the end of seat. It was still cold outside so we had to turn on AC which worked for 30 mins and we could not get it on after that, as it was late we didn’t was to call the host. Was cold at night even with blanket and thin duvet. There were towels but looked very used, thin - like something you used for many years. Bedding was something very plastic on feel and again, looked very tired. Floors looked clean, wifi was free but had issues as sticker in room was damaged so could not see wifi code, asked for host. Wifi in this room Would not work to watch Netflix, but worked fine for phone usage, social media etc.

Location is good as only 3 min with car to city center. Free and convenient parking in front of the apartment.

The price is too high for this place, the attitude must be improved, all old inside. No teapot in the room. The stove is not working or broken, it was impossible to boil water for dinner and bake eggs.... It was not a good stay.

Stayed for a night in July. Parking for a car. More or less quiet place if you count that main road nearby.
