The house is amazing and Maja &Marko are very sweet people! Everything looks exactly the same as the pictures. The pool is actually bigger than the pictures. We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend this place for your holiday. We wish to come back to the house again:)

Nothing - great stay

Villa Hirunda Rustica is an absolute gem of a holiday find and an exceptional holiday accomodation. We would rate this as one of the best places we have ever stayed. The facilities are fantastic, from the gorgeous pool, the jacuzzis, egg chair, table tennis tables, basketball net, football goals, with the meditternian orchard at the back, and a family of tortoises roaming around the grounds (our kids loved the three baby tortoises) and huge amounts of space. There was even fresh fruit to pick from the garden- figs, pears, plums and nuts. The house is designed to the highest spec -with beautiful features around the house and has a feel of a very high end boutique hotel. Other reviewers had noted the wonderful taste of the hosts- and we would agree with everything that was written and more. The pictures really do not do it justice, it was just perfect. Every detail was thought out for guests- shade around the terrace, lovely places to sit and lovely features around the house and gardens. Location was also great for visiting Trogir, Split, Zadar- and 5 minutes from Krka Lakes. The hosts also showed us a small local beach around 5 minutes from the property which we practically had to ourselves. Finally we can not rate the hosts Marko and Maje more highly. They helped us with everything we needed - answering our questions before and during the stay-no problem was too big, they just wanted us to be comfortable and to have a great holiday- with gifts when we arrived, during our stay- and a gift bag when we left! A gem of a booking.com accomodation- we have recommended to family and friends and we hope to return.

There is literally nothing to dislike at this property!

There is a reason why this place has such a good rating, all the reviews are true. Every aspect is incredible! The house is exactly as it appears in the pictures, beautifully dressed and furnished to an exceptionally high standard. The outside area is fantastic, the pool with floats, a jacuzzi, sauna, outdoor kitchen and dining, ping pong, bbq, pizza oven, mini football nets, weight training area, even outdoor bar fridges and a cute little trolley to take things down to the second eating area. We loved having use of the bikes and found some good routes nearby through woodland areas leading to the lake. Air con is excellent as is the wifi and we loved the American fridge freezer with the water and ice dispenser. There is a little supermarket nearby and Scradin with its many restaurants and shops is a 5 min drive away or 10 mins on the bikes (big hill back up though!) Finally the lovely warm welcome and friendship from Maya and Markus. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were so kind and helpful and genuinely cared that everything was perfect for us. They even gave us home made treats. There were also so many great towns/sights to visit nearby. We really did have the best holiday in every sense and can’t wait to go back to this wonderful and very special place.

We booked here to have a few days of complete relaxation and to visit Krka National Park. This place was perfect for both. Everything about this property was exceptional. The indoor and outdoor spaces were very beautifully done and to a very high standard. Wished we had booked longer as it was such a beautiful retreat.

What a fantastic stay! The villa is beautiful inside and out. The kitchen was so well equipped, the best we’ve experienced on our travels. The outside space makes for a relaxing holiday, we loved using the sauna once the sun went down. Set in peaceful Bicine, it’s just a short distance from Skradin with it’s picturesque marina, restaurants and small supermarkets. We appreciated the personal touches and Josip’s warm welcome, looking forward to coming back!
