Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

New ZealandToilet doesn't flush well. Bed is very hard but we still slept well.
A wonderful building run by a wonderful, welcoming lady. She didn't speak much english but we managed to communicate just fine with the help of google translate. We only stayed one night but this place made us wish we had stayed longer. It was beautifully clean, looked nice and had everything we needed. Our train got cancelled so we ended up arriving late around 9pm. We let the host know and she replied immediately that she will wait around for us until our arrival at no extra cost. We are truly grateful for her kindness. She also said we could keep our bags there after check out if we needed but we ended up leaving Heviz in the morning. Great price and location. About 10 mins walk to hot spring lake Heviz. We didn't hear noise from anyone else staying, it's a very peaceful place to be. With great countryside views from the window. I will be recommending this place to anyone visiting Heviz!

PortugalThe gentleman host. After telling me where to park, via his wife, I walked up to him with my arm extended to shake his hand as a hello. He turned his back and walked off. His wife will probably write and say that he was looking for a parking place for me. Actually, the parking area was empty, and he walked through a gate back into his private garden. She told me that there were 9 vehicles that night that needed to be parked and space was at a premium. There were only 5 cars. If you can pass by the attitude of this man, the place is very nice. No AC and was very hot even with the provided fan
Beautifully appointed room. Adjoining a full kitchen with ample communal sitting areas, both outdoors and inside. Good off-road parking well away from the street. Helpful and friendly lady host. Although at the top of a very steep hill, the lake was a short 15 min walk, but tough uphill walk back, I am 70yo, and I managed it though, and supermarket a 7 min walk in opposite direction. Would recommend this comfortable complex.
