Nice location & clear instructions how to enter the building

I had a private room with bathroom. The bed was a paper thin mattress no bed frame on top of some kids foam alphabet cushions . You may as well sleep on the floor as it’s just the same. If you are hoping for a comfortable good night sleep, choose somewhere else. Room also smelt a bit musty

The location was great. The property was not nice.

The entrance to the building and the stairwell was a bit grubby. The actual hostel was not good at all. I realise it is cheap but I still expected a higher standard than what is offered here. The room was very dated and dirty looking. There was a chair that had a lot of staining on it which I would not sit on.I had 2 hand towels and no bath towel. It's the first time I have seen a shower room with no tiles, just painted walls. The main issue I have with this place is the stairs to the loft area. I could guarantee that they would never pass any building standards in the U.K or meet any health and safety standards. I didn't feel safe on them so I left and booked accommodation elsewhere. I messaged the property to tell them about the situation and in the reply they stated that the stairs are clearly depicted in the photographs, however you can't tell what they are like until you see them in real life and as I said I feel they are dangerous. I was booked for 2 nights but I wouldn't even stay for 1 night.

Everything was very clean, good, large bathroom, great communal area, the loft bed was comfortable.

It's a busy street, so some noise is expected.

The location is excellent, and I love the fact that tbe staff sends you a tutorial on how to get there, they also respond fast to messages.

I didn't like the lack of air conditioning

The location is excellent right next to public transport so easy to get around. The communications for getting into the property were excellent and there is a washing machine that can be used included in the rate. This was brilliant. The common kitchen was good. The room was basic but nice, no air con but a great fan. Lots of hangers to use for drying clothes and I love there was doors to open to the outside v small balcony.

No hooks or anywhere to hang thing's in the bathroom, the mattress could be on a bed base rather than just on the floor.

The hostel is very close to the metro and has a fully private room with its own bathroom, so it was just right for a simple solo stay.

Since it's facing a main road, you can hear traffic noise at all times. It's common in big cities, but sensitive people might find it bothersome.

The bathroom was mouldy beyond normal. Interior in general old and dirty.

Room was really decent for the money, I didn't have any big issues.

The steps to the bed were steep, and I had to think twice before starting the journey.

Location easy to find if you are arriving very tired straight from the airport. I liked that a fully equipped kitchen is available - except for a clothes dryer. There are supermarkets and eating places on the doorstep. Transport links are very good, and on the doorstep.

Black mould in the bathroom and also on the kitchen wall. I was cold at night. The small heater helped but I really needed more bedding. The soundproofing is non-existent and the walls are paper-thin. The guys in the room next door kept me awake on the second night - there's no one on site and it was too late to call anybody about it. The sound of the traffic is almost constant and very loud!
